I know this is only coming from a member, but whats wrong with the banner we have now?..I actually like it.

It's unique I will say, but it doesn't appeal to me.

I like the fall and winter seasons, so I think it's great.

I think the best suggestion I can give is make sure we have something unique that sets us apart, like a certain type of forum, a certain way we approach general chat boards, you know what I mean. If I can think of more I will certainly lay it on ya ^_^

Well thats tough when it comes to general chats. I will get thinking on new features to add. Thanks for the suggestion LM.

I like the banner i think it looks really nice. Even if something doesn't appeal to you, owners/admins have to appeal to the masses.

I rather like the banner as well. It sets us apart from other people. SO I say it will stay on that one. As far as custom smiles, I plan on doing those in the next few days as well as Members pips/other things.

The advertising part is already being worked on courtesy of me. Got plenty of connections so I won't be running dry anytime soon!

OK, well, here's my suggestions:

Some custom emoticons and posticons (if you don't know the code, I'll find it for you)
Custom post markers (folders)
There's a few defaults in the skin. For instance, the images used for the BBCodes are default.
Custom PM markers
Add onto to the forums in the general section
Post some rules in the graphic forums
Oh, and get some graphics for the small buttons instead of using text

Kei-chan is going to be getting custom smileis made soon and I assume that goes for posticons as well.

we aren't quite finisehd with everythign just yet so bare with us as we continue to fix this place up and do feel free to post any other suggestions as we will be considering them all.

One silly little fix, enable the fast reply in the forum games if you could plzthx ^_^

Thinking of our dialup users, I am not going to put the images on the Post Icons (Such as the MSN and such) Simply because when you hover over them, they display a hover background and all. I do plan on doing something for that though at a later time.

I know there are still some defaults in this skin. Folders and all will be coming.

I suggest that you get rid of the Shoutbox. 'Cause after a while, nobody will post on the forum and only in the Shoutbox. Though, it's a good addition. Just my 2 cents. :)

I disagree with you about the SB . I have one on my board and we still meet monthly goal for post and members , so I say keep it. :P

I actually like the shoutbox down the bottom, it really helps connect with the members and in a faster posting fashion to.

Yayy, I don't fancy this skin much either >_< It's impressive that it's custom, but that doesn't change the fact it doesn't appeal to my eyes.

I'm just going to say this. None of you seem to appeal to better tastes. Fine. I'll make another one early.

You know that you don't have to just because of a few very vocal critics of the skin as the ones who either like it or said nothing either way far outnumber the critics... I mean I think it looks fine as is... and that's saying a lot for someone who prefers dark skins yet this light one is actually pretty good.

I agree with BZ. I didn't mean to hasten your plans, I was just simply stating my opinion. Take your time, this is good enough for the time being.

Keep this one up till December man. Everyone can wait! Don't be discouraged that some people dislike it.

Some people's eyes are bad and can't take light skins, or the colors just don't mesh well to them. You still have a good bunch of people here that love it still so don't let it get ya down.

I personally love this skin.

Something people should remember. It is a lot of work to put a good skin together, and Ichigo went beyond good and gave this site an amazing skin. It is rude (not to mention discouraging to a designer) when you just go and say it sucks. It doesn't suck.

The staff cannot please every single member. It is impossible. Over times the skin will change. Some will like, some will not. But there is no need to be rude when you dislike something.

There is not once that I said such a thing. This is your warning. Watch what you say. I only tolerate so much rudeness. I'm being fair by trying to think of "something different." But when you are the one making all of the rude comments, then that leads me to believe that you complain about everything. And those type of peoeple we do not need here at CL.

I don't get why you complain about this skin it's awesome (makes me think of icecream for some reason).

In my opininon the colours match, which is good cos on some forums they have colors that just makes you wanna throw up.

And to the anime part I'm not a anime person but I still like it.

This is my opninion so don't shoot me for it.

I think that the Creative Junction should be a Conventional Lounge sub-forum, and it should feature all arts besides GFX, not just writing.

As for the little "argument" above, it DID sound like you (Ichigo) were saying the people who disliked it had bad taste. Just how it is put into words. It hurts my eyes, sometimes make them water, but I can tolerate it. I didn't once say that skin "sucked" because it doesn't, I just don't like how it's so bright.

i personally don't like it and i don't think it was done very well, sorry. so i do believe it could be much better.

and i don't complain about everything, if you would read some of my other posts, i talk about how i like certain things on CL.. and the only thing lacking is the skin. the skin is extremely important to a forum.. i mean the individual forums and stuff really dont matter as much if people dont want to come because the skin isn't great.

and i'm sure i'm not the only one who despises this skin.. its just i speak my mind.

so if you want to raise my warn bar for speaking the truth.. and saying what i believe you can. i really don't care.. but your warn bar should also be raised since you were rude in the very first post responding to mine.


if you have a problem reading suggestions then i suggest you not to visit here. you guys asked for suggestions.. and i suggest for you to change the skin. the end. you had a problem with that and said we lacked better taste. how dare you say something like that and claim me being rude.
