Title: The Hardest Thing

AngelKing - October 26, 2007 08:36 PM (GMT)
Not going into details or getting too personal if you feel uncomfortable, but what was the hardest thing to tell your parents?

Probably that I made a bad grade on my report card. It usually was followed by me running and parents chasing me down.

i'm really close to my parents.. so it'd probably have to be telling my mom i made an F in AP english for the 3rd quarter. it was hard but she respected the fact that i told her before ms. chauvin called her to let her know i was failing. :]

I durno... It took me forever to tell my grandma that I used to cut myself. I thought about how I would tell her, over and over in my mind. And when I told her, she just hugged me and finally realized that she screwed up alot. Other than that it was all the bad grades I made in the 7th and 8th grade.. I knew I would get grounded and beat badly... That is why I hated getting my grades XD

I couldn't bear to tell my Mom I broke up with my BF; 'cause I knew she would ask me a bunch of questions and such, I was in so much psychological pain that August.....

To my father, that I was going back to Peru to live with my mother. That was really hard.

I never told anyone about anything not even to my parents.

I never had anything hard to say to them.. I just never thought it was important like that.

There's nothing that hard to tell my parents that I tell them. If it would be hard to tell them, I obviously don't want to tell them. So I don't.

It was never hard to tell my mom anything. I really didn't care if she knew everything I did and such or not.

But my dad is another story... I kinda have respect for my dad (long story why I do for him and not my mom)... But when I was pregnant with my daughter. I wasn't in a good relationship or situation when it happened and my dad was the first person I told (other than my daughter's father) and my dad stopped talking to me for 10 months and 1 week. The day I had my daughter, my dad started talking to me again.

Then again when I got pregnant with my son in Feb of '07, it was hard to tell my dad cause my daughter's father decided he didn't want her or to be in her life and here I was pregnant again and the father of this one was my EX husband. So I knew my dad wouldn't be happy. I told him and again, he didn't talk to me til 2 days after I had my son. My dad still shakes his head in disappointment. I wush I knew why he was disappointed in me, my ex husband is a father to both my kids (even though he's not my daughter's real father) and I'm a good mother to my kids. He's happy about being a grandpa, but I donno why he's so disappointed in me cause I was born when my parent's weren't married (I got married before they did) and my parent's hate each other and have for a long time... so it's not like he did perfect in his life either.

Still a lil upsetting that my dad was let down by me. Oh and just to clear up, I didn't have my kids at a young age, I had my daughter when I was 23 and my son when I was 26.

Never had a problem telling my mom anything. If I had something to say I said it.

Steeleman - April 29, 2008 10:13 PM (GMT)
Everything i tell my parents is hard for me to tell them. so most things i just keep to my self, or i talk to some close friends about it.

Idolo - May 10, 2008 04:41 AM (GMT)
Most people dont tell things are because one

1. They feel ashamed
2. They feel not to just because they think that they dont care
3. They dont want to feel even more insecure about themselves.
4. They have nothing else better to do then dwell in their little emotions
5. NO ONE KNOWS HOW I FEEL
6. Self centered.
7. they just dont. =]
