I may be going to my FIRST Anime Convention in late September! I'm so hyped for that. I live VERY close to some certain online ZC buddies of mine that are planning to go too so in addition to that I get to meet them as well!

My foot hurts. That's about all of my complaints :(

That sucks! Get an ice pack or one of those vapor patch thingies. They always help those achy joints.

Kind of hard when it's your TOE and I'm not going to do it because Workman's Comp will whine about it >.>

I'm busy advertising this place. Been doing it most of the day.

If only you could transfer some of those great advertising powers to me. :( How do you do it TK?

An endless supply of emails and getting a ton of people off my MSN.

Thats it? I do that all the time and yet when i make a forum and advertise, it doesnt work.

Well that's whatTK does to get people here but having a fantastic custom skin like ours does help TK immensely in getting them to join and I was never able to get too many people to join a board I owned either... my first one got up to 300 members and my last one didn't go anywhere at all but I figured I am better off being staff at other people's board hence why I am one of the senior admins here.

Generally when I ran my own board I did a whole lot more. I did all the advertising BY MYSELF when I ran Variety Villa. It died because most of the staff just didn't do a whole lot. Eventually, I got burned out and handed it over to my good ZC friend Nate who then in turn passed it off to Ceaseless (A guy who to this day still holds a grudge against me cause I took the original VV back from him and deleted it because he didn't help the place at all.)

I must have tried to stay active at 20+ boards at the time, affiliated with all of them, posted ads, wore my add in my signature, put out reviews EVERYWHERE, Traffic Exchanges too.

It's VERY hard work. It helps when you have over 100+ online friends as you can easily fill up a board by having a ton of connections.

Lol, when I opened my second forum it got 145 members in less than week but was only fairly active. Like the first two months it got like 1000 posts for each week and then the 3rd month it just died down to only about 3 people posting.

Some of my boards died before they even really got going for me. It's either I got burnt out, some person always drove me away or life got busy and didn't have time for it.

Still got a bazillion more emails I have yet to send out too. Hopefully the members will contribute and bring some people here themselves too!It will definetely help this place grow EVEN faster.

I'm horrible at advertising, lol, but I'll do what I can to get the word out. We have a good thing going on here and people should know about it.

Hey LM if you can get just EVEN a few people from Twisted Medley over here that would be helpful enough.

I can do most of the work getting members here. I'm usually going around collecting emails & MSNs now to do my advertising.

Twisted Medley is now a decaying ruin, it has gone into a quiet retirement, lol.

Sorry to hear that man. All my boards have died so I know how ya feel. Hopefully things will be much different with this place.

I'm rereading Stardust. I forgot how gruesome it is.

I only read my "Golden Age Of Myths & Legends" book. Most of my reading is usually done on the computer nowadays.

Heh I'm also reading Eclipse. Stardust is lighter/smaller, Iread it in waiting rooms and such.
