I am bored and figure i'll make myself a little rant topic so i, and anyone else who shares the same or different views, can speak our mind. My topic for today is society, which is that biast piece of c*** that we live with every day. Society has been so warped around beauty that it causes normal yet alright looking guys like me and most of my friends have almost no chance in the game of love. Most girls out there goes straight to looks when they think of relationship, theren is that lucky few that don't mind that, unfortunatly for me and maybe some other people, those people are our friends and relationships with them outside of friendship almost never works out. Or these people live far away from us, either in another state, across the country, or in an entirly different country, so relationships with them hardly work out. Now i'm not saying a long distance relationship can't work, for some it can, the lack of physical meeting between the two parties could actually be a plus, but in alot of cases they jsut don't stand. My question is to all the people out there that only see the face and not who is wearing that face, why? I mean looks are a good thing, i personally wouldn't go with some fugly a** person or some fat person whos fat folds have fat folds (its a personal quirk of mine, it just grosses me out beyond all belief, sorry if i offend anyone), but there is more to a relationship then looks. You have to have something in common, a common interest, a comon hobby, or maybe you just have fun with the person. Look beyond the exterior and dig through the person's personality before you decide whether or not they are dateable, that is all i ask. So to the warped mind of society that thinks beauty comes first, i have only one thing to say to you, "F*** you." Also a thought on beauty, why do women think skinny is beautiful? I personally like a girl with some meat on her bones, but there are some people out there that like twiggy girls, i just don't see why most girls think all guys like skinny girls.

My next rant: undecided, probably against those "Parents against violent video games" people, they piss me off so much.

Everyone need something to live by. You can't blame them because of their simple minds. Yes you can b**ch and whatever, but it doesnt make any sense because you are society itself. Someone who b**ch and who doesn't do anything about it.

hello it's either put up with it, or shut up about it. There is basically nothing you can say or do that will change anything in this "Society" crap thing.

If games effect kids today then why aren't our parents walking up & down streets like the panels in 'Pong' or hiding under shelters and shooting at thingd like 'Space Invaders'?

as for the beauty obessed world we live in with cosmetics and plastic sergery, keep one thing in mind, when they're older it's going to fall apart!

My nose is a slightly bent (I think i've broken it at some point and not realised) but I'm not paying thousands to get it fixed, if it really starts to bug me i'll just get some a**hole in the street to punch me the face.

Violence is the solution to some of lifes problems

Video are a form of entertainment. The only reason why humans blame on video games is because humans cannot face the facts that they are the one who didn't like teach them kids better, but instead just slack off in doing so.

it's a nature that humans never blaming themselves, but things or other for their problems. it makes them feel better =D..

If you are not going to watch after your kids, don't have kids if your a kid yourself.

then again maybe back in the parent's day the video game wasn't very popular (it was break through technology). Probably all they had were the arcade and board games, the alien technology that wasn't in their day probably made them suspect its the games fault!

back to the issues of society, is it you're fault that most girls like looks in a guy? of course not. Is it my fault that parents put the blame on violent video games? Most likely not, (unless I make them rage quit). You know its a gift and curse this thing called society, sometimes a person gets singled out when the rest of the world moves. There are some occasions when the beat of the world moves under one person, but most of the time our individual selves can't do anything to change it :(

Single out, everyone get single out everyday, but there is nothing that we can do, because in the books of society they are wanted. By al mean try to create a book of justice if there is something like that.

I won't blame parents, it's just the public to make it the EXTREME.. I mean come on now, they are just trying to get a story but putting false on people who like doing what they are doing and dont give two shits about anything...

I don't care if girls go for looks or whatever. I mean guys do the samething too. I mean if a guy was dating a girl, the first thing the guy's friends will say is "is she pretty" most girl goes for guys who have money =D anywase.

But there are "some" good person and not so many "good" people.

People have different ways of getting to the top.
