Are any of you a part of or were part of a clique in High School? If so which one?

I always called myself a "floater" in high school, I never had a specific clique, I was always hanging out with everyone. The nerds, the goths, the ghetto kids, the preps, and of course the jocks. What do you guys consider yourself?

I never really liked the idea of only being with one group of people, so I made friends with everyone. Of course, doing that also made me a lot of enemies, but I liked it that way. ;)

I'm just a nerd... that's not really a clique though is it? I'm not really in one... I usually just kinda don't talk with people unless they're the ones who start up a conversation.

Cliques kind of died out for me after highschool. Never was apart of one. I was the type to want to enjoy being by myself most of the time.

I was a 'floater' as well. I didn't belong to any one specific group but I had plenty of friends from each one.

Same here. I'm done with university and I can assure you that it's 1000x better than High School. You will enjoy your University experiences.

I wasn't really part of a clique either. Mostly I kept to myself or wandered around the different groups of people trying to find out who I liked. But when I reached alternative school (although I had some down periods), it really was the best time of my life because there were no cliques there. Everyone got along well-with each other, and with me.

I'm a case in high school. I'm a nerd, sure, but unlike all of the nerds I know, I'm very cool and collected. I'm well liked among the jocks and the Barbies. I just befriend anyone who is in front of me really. No one knows how to classify me because I always change myself to fit the time and to fit how I feel. All in all, out of the 4 years in high school, I've befriended the nerds, hung with the punks, played ball with the jocks, protested with the hippies, got sad with the emos, and flirted along with the Barbies. Hmm... guess I'm just well rounded for being so weird.

I guess that really classifies me as a floater, but we don't really call them anything here.

Well, since I've been home-schooled, I've never really had to deal with cliques xD I'd probably be in the goth crowd if I was in school, if anyone called me emo because of my hair I'd gladly flip them off :P Plus I can't stand most poetry lol

I hate the word clique, because everybody is an individual. In highschool I was called a 'gothic' by others, while I just wore skate pants, some black clothing and make-up. It was just me, so don't bother me with it. Now I'm still me, not 'gothic' anymore. I hate labels lol.

I don't think I'm part of a clique. I'm buddies with different types of people, and I prefer to think of myself as just a normal guy.

Everyone considers me the loner. I'm quite assured that some people are afraid of me. I have but a handful of friends.

I hang out with anyone, mainly goths/emo's, but I don't allow myself to get involved with groups or just a certain person.

My aim in college, when I started was to just not have any enemies and be friends with anyone I could. I've made a big group of friends, and they all vary.

The 'Loner' clique. Meaning its a clique but we're by ourselves. =P

i'm in the 'popular' clique.

I'm a "floater" i hang with every group besides the nerds, they're too weird. but im mainly among the preps if any. I'm what they call "The whitest black dude you'll ever meet" lol

Another 'floater'! In my senior year though I mainly was in the Band clique. But I had friends everywhere.

A clique? I never thought of myself as in one.

I mostly hung out w/ the Juniors in my High School cause I hated my Senior class. Is there a clique for that? :XD:

I've always been the geek with glasses, for some reason people thought I spent every waken moment studying XD. All my time in high-school I spent alone. I like being alone sometimes and I hate being the center of peoples attention.

Another floater for me, hanged out with the whites, blacks, asians, the "gifted" folks, and probably more. Turns out most of the time I hanged out with the "skippers" haha

Cliques can burn. I stay with people who enjoy my interest of things. And i float. But then again, I'm anti social. I hate people.

I hanged out with everyone during high school. I didnt have a part in high school that I should have hung out with them. i was free will to hang out with anyonre from Preps to goths. From nerds to low lifes. From blacks to mexican. But I never hanged out with my asian friends.. None at all. boring as people asking me if they are fat. I tell them yes and they hate me. Sorry you want the lie. hell no.

I never liked asian people. Even thou I am asian i had a few asian friends here and there... but never hung out wtih them
Of oucrse my bff is asian but we are cool in way.. Not like the other asian people. So annoying.... asian is not really fun soetimes., I dont know why people want to be asians sometimes.. noting special

I don't get cliques to be honest... sounds stupid to me. I never was in any and sure as hell didn't want to either.

I always saw cliques as being a bad thing because most of the people I knew that were in cliques (they admitted that themselves,i wasnt assuming) weren't the nicest kids in school. I just see myself as being with a group of friends, rather than being in a clique.

BUT BUT I dont wanna lose my nose QQ

lol that must be a side effect of whatever he did. I suggest sticking with the race you have now then because not having a nose must really suck.

Cliques wheren't really a big thing in my highschool as for me usually hung out with my friends and we didn't fit in any kind of stereotype :P
We had a nerd, a jock, an emo and so on. I guess the only real cliques in my highschool where the Yugoslavs, the Turkish people and the "Kampers (trailor trash? unsure on how to describe them)" the rest just basically mingled :P

I am indeed in one. I'm in the punk clique.

The preps sometimes want me in there group, but f**k them, all they do is cuss to look big and want boobs.

The punks wanted me in there clique, even though I dress like a prep somehow. :P

I either name myself a punk or a drifter because I have a multi-personality.

I love to help people. I don't hate anyone even if they do. I don't hate like the punks do.

But I do have a temper and a want to start fights, and I listen to punk music. When I'm mad, I just don't care, I don't take the usual route to being mad which is wanting to be violent.

In fact, why I'm so comfortable is knowing that me and all my friends who are in the punk clique are going to be in the Marines! :D

When I was in school, I had a variety of friends and was never really part of any 'clique' as I was always my own person, and usually just talked to people if I felt like it. Although I did have my phases where I hanged with particurlar people for periods during the year. In my late years, a group of us used to hang around the tennis courts, now this group was a variety of people from different cultures/views and backgrounds. What made it so good, was that we would just meet up by the tennis courts, and get involved in sports, during breaks.

Well, I have friends in several of the cliques, but if I had to choose a clique/stereotype I fit into, it would be Geek/Metal Head.

I found out that MJ had a skin disorder or something that made his skin turn white that is why he decided to just be all white. That is what I saw on the Montel show xD XD XD
