Viewing, Quantum Leaping CL Host Top Kirby!
I just want to say that since I've been feeling very exhausted and somewhat burned out from
board leaping that this edition will be somewhat small. Rest assured as I will make #27 bigger,
better and more enjoyable for you to read. Don't get me wrong, I still have quite some nice
reads to offer in this newsletter.
Before we get into any of that however, lets hit our CL Statistics Update!
CL now has 2,150+ Members, over 70,500+ Posts, MAJOR Activity, CUSTOM Skin & Buttons,
ZB Transfer & Revamp on the way soon and much more! It's really incredible to see how far CL
has come. Not to mention, I have never done this many newsletters for one board either and
I've never stayed this long at any one particular board. Guess there's a first time for everything
huh? I mean I finally got my long awaited 200+ game Bowling last Friday. XD

CL Newsbit #1 - Pokemon Wifi Tourney Making Possible Return?
Seeing as the "Pokemon D/P Chat Thread" is getting heavily active on CL, there's a strong
chance that the Wifi Tournament could get revitalized! So when the Revamp is complete, keep
your eyes open for this section!
It probably won't start till April so you have at least a month and a half to train up your teams.

Hey, it's Sheyenne again. Yes, as most of you can see now, we have the new skin in the
works. The last one went craploey, so we have to redo it. I think this next skin will be a lot
better than that the last one was.
So look at the Association Headlines to get a glimpse on what was added. Take note, I'll be
releasing another test board for this. Simply because the old skin that I was making may still
make a ZB appearance. So yeah.

CL Newsbit #3 - New Mailing List Underway!
I've finally started the Email Gathering operation. I'm grabbing all of our active members email
and adding them into a notepad file. Once this is complete I will send them over to Sheyenne
who will utilize a new Bulk Email system to get out our CL Times once again. Hopefully come #30
I will have the list complete.

Anime Judgement #6
Welcome to the 6th Edition of the Anime Judgement! Today your hosts Ging, Brad and
Nam will sit down together and discuss the VERY intense and action packed anime you all
know and love called "Dragon Ball Z". Hope you all enjoy it!
Ging: Welcome to the anime judgement segment, I am your host Ging, with my two
co-hosts, Nam and Brad.
Nam: What up.
Ging: The anime this week is a big one - Dragon ball Z.
Ging: So to start this off, what were your first impressions of this anime?
Nam: Amazing...and shweet.
Brad: Was amazing considering I saw it like when I was 12.
Ging: Mine was "ZOMG (O)___(O)"
Ging: Yeah I agree with Brad.
Nam: Yeah, and it used to come on EVERYDAY after school. I remember waiting for the school bells to ring
just to see the next episode of DBZ.
Ging: I remember those days.
Brad: It was on like at 8pm everyday for me.
Nam: Nowadays, all of the shonen fighting shows come on only on weekends...sad.
Naruto and Bleach are so slow.
Ging: Yeah they are.
Ging: Now, Who was your favourite character?
Brad: Gohan
Nam: Damnit, I was typing that.
Ging: xDDDD
Nam: Vegeta 'cause he's badass.
Ging: My favourite character was Piccolo.
Ging: Because green skin is awesome!
Ging: "The balls are inert"
Ging: How do you guys feel about the upcoming DBZ live action movie that is
to come out this summer?
Brad: Don't really care for it. I barely know anything about it.
Nam: I'm staying optimistic. I know the chances of this being good is very slim,
but whatever. I'll wait for the reviews.
Ging: I personally think it will be as cheesey as the Speed Racer movie
(also coming out this summer) will be.
Nam: I gotta see the trailer for the DBZ film before I make up anything.
Nam: Oh yeah. The reason I like DBZ was because it didn't try anything that it
wasn't. I mean, it's a fighting show. There were no romance in it, no side story,
nothing. It was all about fighting and kicking a** and taking names and saving
the world in every saga. I liked the show because of that.
Ging: I agree.
Brad: Mhmm.
Nam: So because this is a shonen fighting show, how does it compare to others in ya'll's
opinion to other shows like Bleach, Naruto, and YuYu Hakisho?
Nam: Well, you guys. No need to rush and answer all at once. Golly gee wiz.
Ging: Ok yu yu hakusho was way better because I think the plot was amazing.
Ging: Naruto is subztandard.
Ging: And dbz is better than bleach because bleach is too flillerish.
Brad: I always found DBZ better than any of those animes. Bleach I have only
watched a few episodes and they were good but I never seen a lot so can't judge
much. Naruto I got bored with in the first few episodes. Yu Yu Hakusho I saw a few
episodes and never got into it.
Ging: Eh.
Nam: Naruto was the next "big thing" in the U.S. after DBZ died. When I saw it, I couldn't
believe how boring it is. The story is just blah, but they milk it out episode after episode with
meaningless story. DBZ gave what I wanted: fighting. I think Bleach is a good show, but I hate
all of the fillers. The Soul Society arc was great and reminded me of DBZ...you know, fighting and
stuff. I think Bleach might be an even better show because I actually give a crap about the story.
And I never really got into Yuyu Hakisho, but I heard the manga is good. I'm going to read the
manga after I finish some others.
Nam: Wow I just killed the spelling of Yu Yu Hakusho.
Ging: I noticed.
Brad: Haha
Nam: How observant.
Ging: I honestly dont see the resemblance of bleach to dbz.
Ging: I mean bleach is good, but I think DBZ is very different.
Nam: SuperSaiyan = bankai, vaizard = SuperSaiyan 2
Ging: ...
Ging: xD
Ging: You win.
Nam: Yeah, they're very different, but I don't know. They're both two shows where the fighting
was fast pace and good (except for this new arc that's on tv right now).
Ging: And yet you dont get those quality episodes in bleach of someone just screaming.
Nam: lol
Nam: So let's list some positives and then negatives about DBZ. Let's start with the positives.
Ging: ...Stealing my lines eh?
Nam: I'm getting used to this lol
Ging: xD alright
Ging: Positives- Awesome fight scenes, orginal, one of the first great animes.
Brad: You forget classic lines.
Brad: 9000!!!
Ging: It's over 9000!!!!!!!!
Brad: Or Vegeta and Goku's arguement after Goku promised Old Kai a kiss from Bulma.
Ging: xD
Brad: I'm gonna buy the DVDs of the show soon.
Ging: Nam, any additions?
Nam: What happened?
Ging: My chat told me you guys left
Brad: Supposedly we both left the conv
Ging: Yeah.
Ging: Whatever.
Ging: Onto the negative to wrap this thing up.
Nam: I didn't leave. My first chat window is still up.
Ging: As is mine.
Brad: Same here.
Nam: Oh well. Negatives?
Ging: Negatives: the episodes of just screaming were odd...
Brad: Battles get dragged on sometimes and sometimes so fights turn more
into talking then fighting.
Nam: I agree. Even though I like the show, they did drag on some times to make
it seem more "epic".
Ging: Yep
Ging: And that just about wraps it up.
Nam: Vegeta pwns.
Ging: See you guys next time for another exciting installment of the

Yeah I know, this edition was kinda short this week but I will make up for it with #27 as
it will go back to having 5 Segments and 5 CL Newsbits again. This week I just felt drained
and needed some time to recharge. Hope you all understand!
