Title: How much importance do you place on a loved one?

Trulyana - March 2, 2008 08:48 PM (GMT)
I've noticed and have observed that people tend to place a lot of importance, on their partners. If involved, how imporant is your loved one to you? And why do you feel this way? Why do you place importance on them?

In my opinion they should be very important to you. You should hold them tightly, unfortunately a lot of people don't realize what they have before it's gone.

every time im in a relationship it's almost as if everyone else in the world goes away. but the past relationship was even worse. i put all of my friends on hold and even my family. but i dont regret a thing.. because at the time it's what i wanted. your friends will come and go.. but if you share love with someone that usually stays forever.. but you shouldnt put them before your family.. immediate family. yes somewhat ahead but not when you arent living with that person yet.. or arent out of the house.

I am not close with my family. I barely tell them anything. Friends that I have are just there to have fun with. Friends come and go. My boyfriend...i do hold him dear to me, because I tell him everything. It's just a thing I have bad or not that is how I am. I grew up never telling how I feel to people. And even if I had people there to hear me out. They are just never there. Yeah I have problems here to there and I am of course bipolar. But iunno with my boyfriend, yes he gets mad sometimes and we argue but iunno we still be together happy. I couldnt even break up with him. I hold him really close to my heart. And I love him a lot.

If he was to break that. I know I'll still be fine and still walking through life. The pain it's nothin new.

I hold my relationship with my boyfriend in very high importance. He's been there for me when no one else has. We've been through a lot together. I'd do anything for him because I know he would do the same, if not more, for me. In comparison, all other relationships come second.

When I date someone, they're generally one of the most important people in my life. Relationships are important and should be treated as such. Still, depending on the person, I don't hold them in higher regard than my friends who have been with me for several years.
