Welcome to another cool, calm & collective edition of the CL Times! It is I your QuickTime Playing,
Windows Media Watching, Winamping, Realplayer utilizing host Top Kirby. Yeah I decided to use
computer audio/video software names for my intro today. XD
We have a lot of nice reads for you today so you'll definetely want to stay tuned for those. But
first, our infamous CL Statistics update!
CL now has 2,400+ Members, over 74,000+ Posts, MAJOR Activity, BRAND NEW Revamp and
so much more! The Pokemon Wifi Tournament will begin in April and now that Smash Brawl is
out I'm sure a good amount of our member base are off playing the game in hopes to increase
their skill level for our future tournament! I believe the Brawl Tournament will happen sometime
in May or June so stay tuned for more on that.

CL Newsbit #1 - TK Taking It Easy This Week!
As most of you know, I'm taking a few days of relaxation from my hard advertising work at CL
as I can certainly use it. I'm enjoying Smash Brawl a great deal but I'm still making sure to get
the CL Times done for all of you to read! Not to mention I'm still doing some small advertising

Welcome to another FWH segment! Today I have selected a story created by
Luffy on CL called "Celestial Moon". This is the first episode of many! Anyways, I
certainly hope you enjoy this nice read!

Episode 0: Opening…
Why must I fear what I have been given? Is it fair to the gods who gave me this fate?
I think back to that day. How I wish I could forget. I had fame and fortune... none of that
could help me claim happiness. But was it their fault? Was it the fault of the people who
praised me, cheered me, and worshiped me that I am not happy? How can I justify that?
Turning my back on them... I was only thinking of my own happiness, my own life. Was it
my quest to find happiness that killed the dreams of all people that dared call themselves
my fans? Was I wrong in doing so? I know the answer.
It was.
But what else could I do? Those who aligned themselves as my fans would have never let me
leave them so easy. But there had to be a better way than condemning them. There had to be...
I may have found one if I had tried. Back then, I took all of it for granted. But to look down on
thousands of heartbroken faces... faces that found honor and courage, hope and dreams in
my work... did they deserve my hatred for loving me?
Or did they love me...
After all, I'm only a voice. But then again, sometimes only a voice is needed to open the hearts
of millions. Why didn't I learn that earlier in life? I can't say that I would have continued. I didn't
have happiness. How was I going to do something I loved to do...if I didn't love to do it? I couldn't.
The few fans that still like me understand that... at least I hope they do... Those few people they
dare still call me a hero I like. At least someone thinks I'm worth something. Maybe I shouldn't
have turned my back to my fame, my fans. But if I didn't, I would be unhappy. Unhappy with
wondering. Did they like me or the character I play? Was it me they loved or was it this
2-Dimensional drawing that shared my voice? I don't think I would have ever been happy...
I’m not sure what I am now. Am I famous, infamous, or just a has-been? Or, come to think about
it, was I ever? I lived here in the capital city for 19 years of my life. I was born here. I was raised
here. I have loved here. I was broken here… For some reason, I don’t want to leave these
memories, as if I’m fixated of recollecting the pains of my past as a way to prey forgiveness for
all of the spirits I have broken. Just because my spirit was broken, did they, the people who
dared believe in me, deserve to be broken by my voice? My words of self hate? My terminology
of resent towards the people that loved me? Or at least, loved the thought of me… It pisses me
off. Every time I think about it, it seems to be more and more painful to think about. Why should
I have to be in such pain? Because of what was said to some random fanboys? Why should I
care so much? I guess I will never truly know why. It seems as if I’m just opening my eyes
merely to close them again…
Lost in this endless soap opera that is my life, I walk. If people notice me, I don’t want them to.
If they don’t, I begin to wonder why. ‘Tis the curse of fame… If you turn your back it, it will turn its
back on you. No second chances. Why did it take me so long to figure that out? Why did I allow
myself to destroy the hopes of other for my own happiness… what about my hopes? Why should
I have to give up everything for people who don’t know me for me? When did I ever give them a
chance… I fear I will never have inner peace. Suicide would bring me so much joy, clearing me
away from this hell I created for myself here on Earth. I would… I just don’t think I deserve such
happiness… not now.

Anime Judgement #8
Ging: Welcome to this weeks Anime Judgement Segment, I am your host Ging with our
regular host Nam and our substitute host Syarith. He is filling in for Brad who is currently being
a whiney girl.
Ging: The anime this week is Death Note!
Ging: So first off what were your first impressions?
Syarith: XD! Hello everybody. And Brad, if you ever see this (which I'm sure you will), a word of
advice, dont say, "i'm busy leave me alone" when you're needed! Mwahah! Ok enough of that.
Now onto business.
Ging: Thats a great first impression of an anime Syarith. Thank you.
Nam: Well, I haven't been watching anime for a long time. So my cousin told me about this
show called Death Note. The concept seemed interesting to me, so I gave it a try. Suddenly, I
was hooked and decided to watch the whole series. It got me back into watching anime.
Syarith: Anyways . .. My first impression.
Ging: My first impression was "wow this is fun. I need to kill time. who made these subs?
They are great finally subs I can read and aren’t blurry" I thought the show had great potential
and was really well made both storyline and art wise.
Syarith: I honestly, I was a fan of Death Note and well, I got my friends into it because I told them
about it. And well I was a fan and whatnot and decided to watch the subs and the storyline and
plot was awesome!... Personally though I got bored with it halfway through the series however,
and never saw the remainder of Death Note. But my first impression, let's just say it "wow'd" me
when I first saw it.
Ging: Ok, what do you think about the character development in Death Note?
Nam: I really wanted Light to create a "new world" and become the "new god". It was like, damn.
That's what I wanted to be. Some omniscient asshole that controlled the world.
Syarith: The character development, well I can't say much except that Misa was always my
favorite.
Syarith: For rather obvious reasons.
Ging: I think that Misa should have killed Light and created her own world actually xD.
I did enjoy how well the characters grew though. I do wish that they developed Near more
though. They kinda rushed that much.
Ging: What obvious reasons are we talking about Syarith?
Syarith: What part of 'obvious' don't you understand? XD
Nam: I hated Misa. Though I like Aya Hirano (voice actress for Haruhi and Lucky Star), I think she
was a worthless character.
Nam: I also don't like Near and Mello.
Syarith: I never liked Near.
Nam: I just thought the story should've ended when the...you know what I'm talking about.
Ging: No syarith, please elaborate. - I think that syarith has a fetish for slutty anime charaters.
Kinda like Nam's hamster hentai.
Syarith: LMAO.
Nam: f**k you.
Nam: And how is Misa slutty?
Syarith: I don't have a fetish for slutty anime characters.
Syarith: And I was about to ask that very same question.
Ging: "I will do anything for you light!" as he is down on two knees.
Ging: I dont know I got the slut vibe from Misa.
Ging: Kinda like the gay vibe you get from hiei and kurama from yu yu hakusho.
Nam: Oh please. She admires Light. I thought she was superficial though, and though I'm
sure that was intentional I don't like characters like that.
Syarith: Yeah but seriously, Hiei and Kurama are not gay. I always hate people that misinterpret
that they are.
Ging: Oh I agree.
Nam: I got a gay vibe during the rain scene between light and L.
Ging: Yeah xD
Syarith: What episode was that in? I dont remember that..the rain scene. I'm not sure if ive
seen it or not.
Ging: but yes, hiei and kurama are not gay. Light quite possibly could be.
Nam: lol
Nam: Who cares if Light's gay? He's so badass.
Ging: True.
Syarith: Yeah
Ging: I think Ryuk is far more badass though.
Nam: Maybe badass looking, but he didn't do much in the show except add some commentary
and laughing half of the time.
Gings: He had wings.
Nam: What do ya'll think of L, Near, and Mello?
Ging: L is awesome
Ging: Near and Mello didnt have enough build up on their character. they should have never
introduced them, or if they really wanted to, they should have expanded on their characters.
Nam: Ewww...mint oreo tastes like s**t.
Ging: I actually like mint oreo blizzards from dairy queen, but I've never had a plain mint oreo...
Syarith: Why are we talking about oreos? I dont recall them having an unintentional cameo in
Death Note.
Ging: I dont know.
Nam: I always thought Near was just a carbon copy of L, and I quickly dismissed him as Light's
rival. And Mello was one weird guy. What's up with him and chocolates? I know L was obsessed
with sweets, but at least he had varieties. This guy just bit the same chocolate bar during each
episode?
Nam: Don't ever buy mint oreos...they're horrible.
Syarith: Mint Oreos - horrible. Got it
Ging: Moving on.
Ging: What is one thing you'd change about this anime?
Syarith: I'd obliterate Near.
Ging: I would have it end when ______ does _______ with _______.
Ging: Syarith, you said you only saw the first 16 episodes.
Nam: I agree..and I hate the ending of the show.
Ging: Near comes in on ep. 25.
Nam: I was referring to ...[20:14] Ging: I would have it end when ______ does _______
with _______.
Nam: btw
Ging: Ok.
Ging: Everyone who watched the show would pretty much agree.
Syarith: I dont care. I've heard of Near from other death note fans and hated his character ever
since I knew about him. Though I didnt see him for myself, I knew what he was like through other
death note viewers.
Ging: Ok then
Ging: Positives and negatives - my favourite part
Ging: Positives first.
Syarith: And you know, I love spoilers. tHERefore i had to ask other viewers about him.
Syarith: Hmmm...positives.
Syarith: Thats a difficult one...
Nam: Suspenseful. I always wanted to know what would happen in the next episode.
Ging: Great plot, good characters (for the first half anyways), and suspense.
Nam: I like how L and Light play mind games with each other.
Ging: I agree.
Ging: Syarith, do you have any positives or shall we just move on?
Syarith: Well , for the first 16 eps I've only seen I'd say one positive would be as you've said
indeed a great plot.
Ging: Ok.
Ging: Negatives.
Ging: Ending sucked.
Syarith: Never saw the ending because I only saw 16 episodes.
Ging: We know.
Nam: A lot of the supporting characters suck, like Near and Mello. Light's dad was awesome
though and so was that afro dude.
Nam: Yeah, and the ending sucked. It was so predictable.
Syarith: Though I got bored of DN, thats one negative on my part.
Ging: Okay any final comments?
Syarith: Don't get a Death Note and be suspended from your school for having it.
That's all, folks.
Nam: I still recommend watching the show. Even though we bashed the show a lot in this
discussion, it's still a great anime.
Nam: My cousin has a death note, lol.
Ging: I agree with both comments.
Syarith: Haha.
Ging: I never understood why any one would do that.
Ging: Its like carrying around a pokeball on you belt xD
Syarith: And more importantly - If you do get suspended for having one, write the name of the
person responsible for that in the death note. Just kidding.
Nam: It's like those kids wearing naruto jackets at school.
Ging: Oh god I think I saw one of those kids get mugged the other day xD
Nam: lol
Syarith: ROFL!
Ging: Anyways this has been another exciting Anime judgement segment. Maybe Brad

Pokemon Review Of The Week #4
Welcome to another incredibly indepth Pokemon Analysis! This week, I TK will touch down
upon the Pokemon known as Infernape. It is seen as VERY superior to Hoenn's Blaziken. Why
you ask? Well you shall see soon enough!
-=TK's Suggested Moveset=-
Infernape (Adament)
Hold Item: Life Orb / Focus Sash
- Flare Blitz
- Close Combat
- Thunder Punch
- Shadow Claw
This Infernape is absolutely meant for one purpose and that is to literally CRIPPLE anything
it happens to come out against. Your choice on which hold item you want....Life Orb to give your
attacks more power or Focus Sash for fear that something could outrun Infernape and try to put
a hault in it's sweeping potential. But let me tell you, not many Pokemon can outrun Infernape.
The first move we start off with is Flare Blitz. I'm sorry, but you can't pass up a 120 Base Power
100 accurate attack running off STAB and Life Orb's power! Yeah the recoil may be intense to a
degree but who cares if it's practically a guarenteed OHKO against Steels, Grassers, Pure Ices and
Bugs? Not to mention Pokemon who take neutral damage should get severely crippled by it.
Close Combat is the next obvious choice. Another 120 Base Power 100 accurate attack running
off STAB and boosted by Life Orb's power! Yeah the drop in defenses isn't good but who cares
when your literally faster and almost guarenteed to knock things dead in ONE HIT? Keep the
Rock, Steels, Normal, Darks and Ice types at home people!
Thunder Punch is there to cover his Water and Flying weakenesses! Very reliable for the 101
Dragon Dancing Gyarados users. Not to mention that potential paralysis chance sweetens the
deal and with Life Orb boosting it's 75 Base Power higher, it will be doing some solid damage!
So I feel it's a worthwhile investment on our flaming poopflinger!
Last but not least we have Shadow Claw to help Infernape cover his Psychic weakness and to
help him contend with Gengar and his other ghostly compatriots. Believe it or not I've seen
Infernapes outrun Alakazams so he can make excellent use of Shadow Claw on him and the
many other psychics out there! Life Orb boosts it's 75 Base Power so like Thunder Punch it
will be doing some solid damage. Should hit OHKO any Psychics and Ghost Types without fail!
Especially if that Critical Hit comes into play!

Finally, the Member Interview segment has returned after a hiatus from a couple editions!

TK: My first question, how did you get involved with forums to begin with?
Toma: Long story short, I was bored at school, so I messed around on the Internet...

TK: What was the first board you ever visited & joined? Also did you
meet & make any new friends there?
Toma: My first forum was..well A4, Anime Forums, but I don't count it...because I was only
there for a week or so...but, the one that I really liked, and still like, is True Shinobi, that was
the first forum I actually stayed at, and that was how I fell in love with Role Playing and forums.
TK: Have you ever created any boards? If so which was your most successful?
Toma: Yes, I've done about 5 or so boards...

Twilight Avengers was the only one that made it to one year, and Twilight Awakening is it's
ZB counterpart : D, I love them more than anything.

Toma: Well...First off I go to Twilight Awakening and go through posts and read through the Rp
...then of to TS to check it out.., then here to see if I have any Pm's or have any interesting topics
to post in...Then..I think I go to gaia, which I consider a forum.

Toma: My real name? I keep telling people it's Tomasu, because I love my Japanese name
more than my real name, but my real name is Thomas, the last name I will keep a secret for
safety reasons.
TK: Where do you live? Is there lots to do there?
Toma: I live..well..In a really boring town in Mississippi. Things to do? No, nothing, I had to quit
skating because there wasn't anywhere to skate here...Major bored-ness...
TK: What kind of hobbies do you enjoy?
Toma: I'm an Anime Otaku, So I read manga and watch anime mostly. I'm obsessed with Ninjas
so I run around with kunai and stab people with them -insert maniacal laugh-. I play DDR, Most
RPG games, Listen to music on my PSP, and draw some...
TK: What's your favorite foods? Also, what's your favorite drinks?
Toma: Hmm...I like many foods...but I believe...well..I don't really know...and for drinks, nothing's
good like a nice cold, energy drink to settle your nerves.

Toma: ooo..I'm a fantasy addict, give me a book with wizards, barbarians and orangutan
librarians, and I'll most likely have it done within the next day. Music, I'm a heavy metal/Death
Metal/Emo/Punk/Techno/Trance listener, they're all my favorite : D
TK: Do you have any pets? If so please tell us about them!
Toma: nope, I have no pets, but I want a purely black cat. " and, I shall calll you...Kuro-neko, you
will be my kitty, and you're place shall be on my shoulder*places cat on shoulder* Now! To
conquer the Virtual World!"
TK: Are you in a relationship? If so how is it going?
Toma: Hah..No..not yet...I'm still working on that..-sweatdrop-
TK: What's your favorite TV shows and/or anime?
Toma: You just had to say anime...Well...I'm shifting between Hellsing and FLCL, because A.
Hellsing is very gory and has vampires in it : D. but.. B. FLCL is perverted, random, and funny...so
they're pretty much tied...
TK: What's your favorite vidoe games and/or consoles?
Toma: Egh...I love all RPG's, and my favorite would have to be one of the .hack games..
