Title: The Girl (Rest, Sweetheart)

Syarith - March 17, 2008 08:40 AM (GMT)
Rest, sweetheart.
May your soul lie within the darkness, eternally.
A talent as pure as yours,
A voice so angelic,
and filled with pride.

Rest, sweetheart.
Quiet and serene,you are indeed.
Perhaps I was wrong after all.
With these years gone by swiftly,
It's hard to tell the difference.

The difference between life, and the
unpleasant certainty we all know as death.
The difference in strength of the light
and the dark.

My eyes are told what to look for,
But I find not what I seek to see.
Why is this so?
Could it be, the brunette, falls for me,
and causes her own heart to ache?

That female, so foolish,
Not realizing what she'd get herself into.
But perhaps, she knows all she claims,
The girl, she is oh so mysterious.

My eyes deceive me, but show and tell me
What I believe to be the truth,
So how can I know, whether what I see is true,
Or no?

Rest, Sweetheart.
The girl envisions a bright future with us,
I, myself, see it happening not.
The girl drifts from my life,
And soon,
From My Memory.

Rest, sweetheart.
The girl drifts away,
From all our lives,
And soon,
from my memory.
