Welcome to another spicy & enticing edition of the CL Times! It is I your Lucario mastering,
Kirby smashing, Toon Link terrorizing, Luigi lunging host Top Kirby. Yeah, a Brawl themed intro
for this week! XD
CL has been undergoing some more slow activity again but with the Get Active PMs being sent
out and new staff being hired, we expect this to diminish over time! That and with Brawl literally
taking over everyone's households that could be a reason why most are not really on forums
much in addition to work/jobs and schooling.
Anyways, to change the tide of things.....to start off this newsletter....our usual CL Statistics

CL now has 2,567 Members, over 75,500+ Posts, SOLID Activity, INCREDIBLE NEW Revamp
and much more to offer! The Brawl Tourney will be starting up in May or June. In addition to
that we also have the Pokemon Tourney coming up so be sure to keep an eye out for the
Bracket really soon! Remember, April 1st is when it all begins.

Welcome to another nice FWH segment! Today, I have decided to showcase a story written
by J'Quan called "Nightmare 7"! We certainly hope you enjoy this nice read and your more

Nightmare 7
Intro
Kinto .J. Sado an average was just an average 19 year old college student. He isnt smart or
great looking, and he has no talent but to fight. He began fighting when he was very little to
fight off bullys. He's an only child and likes to cause alot of trouble. He has nothing planed it
life and such a blank student but when 5 new students join his school Kubo Academy he has
a chance to be something. They are main leaders of a popular gang called the soul gang. If he
finds a way to get in then he would join them and earn alot of money and today was his day to
shine.
Chapter 1: Introducing Kinto .J. Sado
Phase 1
Kinto had pushed his alarm clock down and realized it was 8:00. He was 2 hours late for
school and he might of missed his chance to get it the gang. He put on his white shirt with a
skull on it while wearing his blue uniform pants. He had black spikey hair and was african
american. Once he got prepared eh ran to school as fast as he could and ran into the class
room without a late pass.
"Kinto your late do you have a pass" Said his teacher Mr. Jones"
"No, i didnt go and get one" Said Kinto, with a bright smirk on his face"
"Well do you atleast have your books" Yelled Mr. Jones in a calm voice"
"Nope, in the conclusion of getting to school i managed to forget about them" laughed Kinto"
"Get out of my classroom" Said Mr.Jones"
"Asshole" Said Kinto, in a soft voice, as he left the classroom"
Before he could leave the door he bell had already rung and it was time for him to go to science
but he decided to skip and head to the secert meeting hidden in the boys bathroom. When he got
in there he saw the 5 leaders of the group and one other kid.
"Wow, this is all that showed up" Said Leader number 1 whos name was Ido"
"Well what should we do" Said Leader number five Okafor"
"Okay since your the only two i want both you to fight" Laughed Ido"
"Are you serious" Said Kinto, but before he could finish the other kid has already punched him
in the face"
Kinto then got up and punched the kid in the face continously 5 times in a row and the last
punch knocked the boy out.
"Your pretty strong, so do you want to be in" Said Ido"
"Yeah of course" Said Kinto"
"One rule" Laughed Okafor"
"Yeah what is it Said Kinto"
"You may not tell anyone about our world" Smirked Ido"
Then all 5 of the leaders began making hand signs and after 20 secounds Kinto passed out on
the floor. Later on when he woke up and he was in a room. The room was all red everywhere and
in front of him was Ido
"Where am i" Said Kinto"
"Your in Relics Festival" Said Ido"
"Whats Relics Festival" Said Kinto in fear"
"Our own little world under the land of earth" Laughed Ido, here we train to become
great fighters"
"So you mean i am in Hell" Said Kinto"
"Nope" Said Ido, didnt you hear me Relics Festival not hell because your not dead"
"Well what do you mean about fighters" Said Kinto, getting scared by the secound"
Ido's body then began to turn into fire.
"Here you get a special power" Said Ido"
"How do you find your power" Said Kinto"
"Well, just try working out at the gym near by and you'll see your power reveal" Said Ido"
"How about you guys just get me back to earth" Said Kinto"
"Once your here you can only be sent back to earth by learning the ritual but if you tell anyone
on earth about us you will be killed" Smirked Ido, but dont worry"
"Well how can i learn the ritual" Said Kinto"
"Well by winning a tournament and getting a medal and if you enter a rare medal a mentor
will offer to teach you" Said Ido, mentors are usally old wise people"
"Man this is hard" Said Kinto, well how will the mentor know how to find me"
"Here" Said Ido, as he passed Kinto a small divice that looked like a cell phone"
"What the heck am i supposed to do with this" Said Kinto"
"Thats a memory card" Said Ido, it has information on everyone in the Relics world and even
tells you abotu new fighters, old fighters, uncomming Tournaments, new openings, and inportant
information about the Relics Festival"
"Oh kool" Laughed Kinto, but then Ido was gone"
"What a strange town, thought Kinto in his head"
Kinto then began walking out the door and since he needed to become stronger and quicker
he decided to hurry up and go on his way to the gym. He didnt know where to go but the Memory
card told him the exact place but it was 19 miles away and he would have to walk the whole way.
While he was walking buy he saw color ful shops selling food, games, and the latest technolgy.
But he noticed he barely any woman and mostly everyone there were men until he was this big
building called Women Recall. When he walked in it was fulled with beatiful and nothing but
beatiful woman who all knew how to fight. Women's Recall was like a womens gym but you
have to pass an exam but he was thinking the exam was based on looks. He was kicked out
by a strong tall male guard.
"Only Women Allowed,"
Kinto kept going on his way to the gym and on the way he met up with Okafor and Okafor used a
move that got Kinto to the gym way faster than walking.
"Thanks you're very kind," Smiled Kinto"
"Your Welcome, just know dont pick fights around here," Said Okafor, People are pretty tough"

Ging: Welcome to the Anime Judgment Segment, I am your host Ging, with my co-host
Nam, and Guest Co-Host Syarith. Hopefully Brad will come back soon. The anime this week
is Cowboy Bebop.
Nam: Yoooooooo!!!!
Syarith: Guest co-host? I find that mildly offensive thank you very much. Just kidding.
HIII EVERYBODYY!
Ging: Okay, What was your first impression of this anime? I honestly don’t remember what
mine was, I saw the anime a long while ago xD I think I enjoyed it though.
Nam: GREATEST ANIME EVER...wasn't my first impression but certainly my last.
Ging: yeah, I agree, I know it was a great anime, but I don’t know if I figured that out as my first
impression, although I am sticking to Gungrave being the best anime ever.
Syarith: I can hardly remember. Been so long since I seen it that my memory of even my first
impression of it went blank. But I loved the anime nonetheless.
Ging: Apparently this anime makes us equal to 80 year old men memory wise.
Nam: Word. I recently rewatched the entire series.
Ging: I'll probably do that tomorrow (spring break begins).
Syarith: I didn’t feel like rewatching it so I just read episode summaries.
Ging: xD that’s fine.
Syarith: And yes, they were good reads xD.
Ging: Okay, who was your favorite character?
Syarith: That’s easy. Spike.
Nam: Spike. He was so badass.
Ging: Yeah, I agree Spike. xDDDDD At least we know we all watched the same anime.
Syarith: lol
Nam: And his background story was the best. His connection with Vicious and Julia is great.
I loved it.
Ging: And I also think that Faye is a great character as well for superficial reasons. >.>
Syarith: I completely agree.
Nam: I actually like Faye’s story. Faye is hot though. Did ya'll like Ed?
Ging: eh, a bit, not as much as spike or Faye.
Syarith: Yeah, I wouldn’t say I liked him but I didn’t dislike or hate him.
Nam: I never really liked Ed but after rewatching it (this time in the dub) I thought she
was actually a funny character.
Ging: Syarith....Ed is a girl. (I thought...?)
Syarith: >_> I overlooked that
Ging: xD
Syarith: I forgot, I haven’t seen it in so long, remember that And besides, I recognized to
be a guys name. xD
Ging: Righto then.
Syarith: So yeah..Remember, I never rewatched it XD

I felt connected to, such a great story. I still think the show is perfect.

Ging: And then they should warn everyone to keep the hamsters in when the Namster is on

Syarith: lol.
Ging: How would you rate this anime overall and why?
Nam: 10/10 It's perfect. It has awesome characters. Great music by Yoko Kanno
(which I think is pretty much the best anime composer), which did music for other anime
like Macross Plus, GiTS, Jinroh, and Escaflowne. Great ending. One of the best endings I've
ever seen. The animation is great. If I just saw this anime, I would've thought that the anime
was made this year. I always like the action scenes. It's good. Even the voice acting is good,
Japanese or English dubbing (which I rarely say).
Ging: Save some for the positives and negatives geez. xD
Syarith: 5 stars; Excellent; A+; 10/10 because it was awesome. The characters were good
but mostly Spike was the s**t and the plot really did a number on me. And the ending was
great as well unlike those anime endings that we all know to be unsatisfying and/or stupid.
Ging: Anyways, I'd give it a 9.7/10 because it was rich in plot and had great character build up.
Alright, let’s go with negatives now. ummm...I can’t think of one.
Syarith: Me neither. o_o
Nam: Me neither...
Ging: xD
Nam: Let's think harder..
Ging: *thinks harder* *soils self* ;___;
Nam: lol
Syarith: *points and laughs*
Ging: well I actually put back seeing it at first because the name turned me off from it, but
after being pressured by my friends to watch it the name didn’t bother me.
Nam: The name actually intrigued me.
Ging: but that’s not really a negative, more of a hatred for cowboys and what they did my dad.
okay then, positives
Nam: What happened to your dad?
Ging: nothing I wanted to make an interesting statement. Alright, time for the Positives.
Syarith: Awesome plot. Great ending. Astounding characters. Thats about it.
Ging: Plus great Music
Syarith: Indeed.
Nam: The director is freaking Shinichiro Watanabe. The dude worked on classics like Macross
Plus and Escaflowne. He directed Samurai Champloo and Ergo Proxy. He's freaking good. The
animation company is Sunrise, which I always liked their stuff like Code Geass. I can go on and
on about how great this show is...
Ging: Please dont.
Syarith: XD!
Ging: Let the readers find out themselves, since we all obviously recommend the show.
Nam: lol, I know.
Syarith: It's not like it'll do them any harm if he doesnt go on..Besides, the more insight, the
more people may want to watch it...
Syarith: Well, in most cases, that is.

CL Newsbit #4 - Podcast Being Brought Up Again!
Recently, Sheyenne has been contemplating doing a Podcast on CL. I know me and Syarith
have been planning to try one as well but with our hectic schedules it just pretty much never
got off the ground. However, we are trying to discuss a particular format and how we would
approach everything so it's still a strong possibility that it could happen in the future!
We will keep you informed on what will happen with this.

Welcome to another casual & relaxing Member Interview segment! Today I TK will sit down
with fellow Co-Owner of GSF TStorm2 and get to learn more about him. Anyways, I certainly
hope you all enjoy it.
TK: Great to have you here!
TS2: Great to be here.
TK: My first question, how did you first get started with boards/forums?
TS2: It all started back in 2004, I was messing around in a search engine trying to find
something that was interesting to look at and I clicked on a link that directed me to this
bunch of forum hosts and the rest is history really.
TK: What was your first ever board? Did you meet & make any new friends at all there?
TS2: I remember first joining an educational forum that had lots of friendly members and
staff which I quickly got acquainted with.
TK: Ever own any forums yourself? If so which was your most successful to date?
TS2: Out of the several years I've been on forums I have only owned one. The name was
"Lots Of Free Speech" (Corny name I Know ) which wasn't so successful. I have never really
tried to create another forum, I only try to co-administrate forums when I can.
TK: Name some of your favorite forums to visit & post at!
TS2: I usually go and wander around GSF for a bit since I am one of the administrators
there and I generally like the feel of the community. The Anizone is another forum I regularly
visit and post around and see if I have any new PM's or something like that.
TK: What board provider do you find and favor best to use? IF, IPB,
Phpbb, VBulletin, etc?
TS2: IF simply because I'm used to it.
TK: Now to touch down more with the real you! What's your name?
TS2: My real name is Joesph which I don't really like so I normally go by "Joe" instead.
TK: Where do you live? Do you like what it has to offer? Is there
a lot to do there as well?
TS2: I currently live in a small coastal town called Montrose on the east side of Scotland.
It doesn't have a lot to offer and their isn't much to do either but I've been living here all
my life so I don't really care as it does the job perfectly.
TK: What's your favorite food? Also, what is your favorite drink? Your welcome to name several!
TS2: Pasta has to be my favourite food out of all foods XD. Favourite Drink? Pepsi has to be
my first favorite drink with orange juice being the next.
TK: What's your favorite music? Also, what is your favorite book? Your welcome to name several!
TS2: I'm more of the Prog. Rock and Pop type of music person. They are both great genres. I'm
not a big reader so I don't have any favourite books, Although I do like reading Biographies.
TK: Do you have any pets? If so please share and tell us about them!
TS2: Yes, I have one cat. His name is smudge and he's 15 years old (pretty old for a cat ).
TK: Are you currently in a relationship? If so how is it going?
TS2: I'm currently not in a relationship and I'm quite happy keeping it that way.
TK: What's your favorite video game & console? Your welcome to list several if you want!
TS2: When I do get a chance to play video games it's straight to Assissians Creed (Favourite
Game) for the Xbox 360 which is my favourite console.
TK: What's your favorite TV shows & anime? Your welcome to list several if you want!
TS2: My favourite TV show? NCIS most definitly. I'm not a big fan of anime, infact i hardly
watch it so I don't have a favourite anime.
