Welcome to a very green garden variety edition of the CL Times! It is I your spare shooting,
strike making, split leaving, wood snaging host Top Kirby. Yeah, decided to go with a Bowling
terminology type intro this week!
Can you believe it.....this is our 30th edition! I never thought I would have survived this many
to be honest. CL is enduring some very bad activity issues right now but we are starting to pull
some things together. We will mention those things in our CL Newsbits coming up. But first,
as usual....our CL Statistics Update!
CL now has 2,646 Members, over 76,213 posts, SOLID activity, INCREDIBLE Revamp, and
much more! I'm pretty sure Brawl's release is the reason why most aren't on forums at this time
in addition to School and it's mid terms and Work & Jobs. Hopefully, we'll have most of you back
again once all of those die down! We have been in tighter spots before and managed to pull
through and we will again!

CL Newsbit #1 - New Bulk Email System Up!
We are proud to announce that Sheyenne has finally managed to find us a BRAND NEW
Bulk Email system so hopefully by the time #31 comes around you'll be getting these in your
E-Mail inboxes again. Also, this means less "Get Active" PMs in the future so yay to that as
well! It's still being tested and a few minor flaws are being worked out but it seems to work
fairly well thus far.

Syarith's Gaming Review #3
Hello everyone! This is Syarith coming at you with the return of the game reviews segment!
Today I shall be reviewing Zelda : phantom hourglass for the DS. It's a good game but you always
need to use the touch screen which is a bit discouraging for those of us who don't like to use it.
Plus there are a lot of annoying creatures you can't kill right off the bat. Such as a rat with a key,
and so on.
Something that pirate fans may like about the game is the Jack Sparrow wannabe character -
Linebeck. He's also one of those people that take credit for everything YOU do in the game as
well, which is irritating. Also the reason why i mentioned pirates is because in the beginning,
Tetra/Zelda is taken away by a Ghost Ship and you are to rescue her - however all LINEBECK
wants is the treasure aboard the ship. Which,i do not know what it is yet because I am still in
the middle of the game.
I recommend this game to any player that likes pirates, Zelda, and using the touch screen.
3/5 stars.

Anime Judgement #10
Ging: Welcome to the TENTH Anime Judgement Segment. I am your Master Host, Ging.
This week, since it is the tenth segment we have all three of our main judges Nam, Brad, and
I AND a fourth guest judge, Morendo! The Anime this week is the great anime Tengen Toppa
Gurren Lagann.
BradleyktheDJ: The tenth one and we still have Ging? =p
Ging: Anyways, first impressions on the anime?
Morendo: Thought it to be really weird, But I like weird.
Nam: The manliest show ever.
BradleyktheDJ: The show is awesome. It was really addicting and I was surprised when the
first episode was done. Never felt like a whole episode.
Ging: I loved it...the plot was so different.
Nam: First time I saw that little mecha, I was thinking that this show was so manly it's gay but
goes a complete 360 and becomes manly again. It's manly x2.
Morendo: Manly x2 well said.
Ging Oh my god this Judgement is going to be so long...
Morendo: Jason likes it long.
Ging: I bet he does.
Ging: xD

Ging: Anyways, how much do you enjoy the plot?
Morendo: Lots.
Ging: I think the plot is really great and original. i'd give it a 9.8/10. the -.2 is just because of
one part I don’t like. Nam knows what I am talking about.
Nam: Pretty fucking lot...Morendo and Brad haven't seen enough...but ya'll don't know s**t
about the anime yet...it only gets crazier.
BradleyktheDJ: I enjoyed the plot a lot. It definitely kept me hook to watch it except when Leeron
is on.
Ging: Once you get middle-ish it gets really fucking awesome.
Ging: How would you rate this anime overall and why?
Morendo: Anyway so far from me it gets a 10/10. Perfect. Action/comedy a lively art style and
a little bit of fanservice every now and then.
Ging: The overall rating has NEVER been last. In fact, it was just introduced in
the last segment.
Ging: I'd give it a 9.9/10. Mainly because the one part ruined it for me. >.> It really is a must
watch for people who like anime.
Morendo: Indeed (but no idea of said part)
Ging: You aren’t even close to it so don’t worry.
BradleyktheDJ: From what I have seen in the first 3 episodes and half of the 4th, I'd give it a
10/10 as well. Definitely a must watch for people.
Nam: 10/10 Amazing story, so badass, a lot of heart, great music, beautiful animation. The
moment I saw them breaking out of the ground and into the sky, I knew I was going to like this
anime. It's a typical shonen fighting show but to the extreme. They cut all of the bullshit. In a
typical shonen show all a main character needs are guts. Goku, Ichigo, whomever. But in this
show, they mean it. They don't give up. I love it.
Morendo: Yeah
Morendo: What he said.
BradleyktheDJ: Nam wins.
Ging: Agreed
Ging: Now. Positives of this anime. Shoot.
Nam: It's got giant robots, hot girls, a lot of fighting, great typical fighting story with a crazy twist
at the end. You don't need much else to get your adrenaline going.
BradleyktheDJ: What he said.
Ging: You already had that typed before I asked didn’t you Nam?
Nam: Actually I thought none of ya'll were talking until I scrolled down lol.
Morendo: Goddamn.
Morendo: Nam said what I wanted to say.
Nam: Anyways, just to inform the readers, the production team is Gainax. If you don't know who
they are they're the ones that did Evangelion and FLCL.
Morendo: I...did not like Evangelion
Nam: You suck.
BradleyktheDJ: lol
Morendo: FLCL however was cool.
Ging: How could you not like Evangelion? OVER FLCL?
Morendo: You're going to hate me for this.
Nam: Did you see End of Evangelion?
Ging: I admit flcl is fun, but evangelion is better...
Morendo: But Shinji got on my nerves.
Morendo: I didn’t understand a lick of the end I was confused.
Ging: Rewatch it like everyone else xD
Nam: What's wrong with being confused? That's what's great about the show. It makes you
think over and over what happened.
Morendo: I disagree you can think over and over what happened.
Nam: Well...that's why you suck. You don't need coherent answer all the time, lol.
Ging Okay how about those negatives?
Morendo: I can't really think of any and I would have to think hard.
Ging: Music...it was a downer.
BradleyktheDJ: Music was the only negative. I agree with Ging on that one.
Morendo: The music isn’t that bad.
Ging: Once you get to the FIGHT THE POWER song you'll understand.
Nam: I actually like the music a lot. It brings a lot of energy to the show. It also conveys the
sadder moments. The music at the final fight...amazing. I love it. It's a great blend of rock, rap,
and classical music. I like Shoko Nakagawa's opening. I like High Voltage's and Afromania's
ending.
Nam: And I love the fight the power song!
Ging: But it sucks so hard!
Morendo: We'll see about the second opening I don’t sell my opinions out until i know what
I’m talking about.
Nam: I don't really know any negatives. I'm actually listening to the Gurren-Lagann soundtrack
right now.. rah rah, fight the power!

CL Newsbit #4 - Pokemon Tournament Will Kickstart Tuesday!
Incase you Pokemon Trainers aren't aware.....this coming Tuesday the Tournament Bracket
will be posted up and everyone will get to see who is facing who. The 1st match will begin on

Welcome to another FWH! Today, I found quite the eye-catching short story in that of
Elindor's called "The World in 3020 AD". I'm sure you will find it an entertaining read!

I was feeling very sad. Today I would be leaving Earth. Not that it was all that beautiful, but I
would miss my friends, and most of all, the museum. And today would be my last visit to it.
I picked my nose idly, using my left tentacle. “Honey? Did you pack all your stuff?” called my
mom. Now that was stupid. I mean, how long does it take to pack up my things using that
shrinking ray and putting it in a pouch? “Yeah mom!,” I yelled and turned back to my book. I
couldn’t concentrate. I threw it away and I started to go through my things once more. This
time, I tried on all my suits. They were the latest fashion. Metal suits, designed to keep out
pollution, with a metallic trendy look.
I sure was lucky to have them. I put on my favorite color first. I could hardly fit in all my tentacles.
And I just had twelve. “Mom! My favorite suit is too small for me,” I hollered. “Oh dear, now I have
to go and get another suit. You go to the museum by yourself then,” he called back. I could hear
her moving about busily. Sighing, I put on my suit for casual wears. Outside, it was getting good
weather.
Before I left, I decided to watch movies on history. I loved one particularly. I put it on my DVD
player, and I sat on my bed. It showed humans in the year 2008. It was funny to see those poor
things without even a single tentacle. I wondered if we had really evolved from them. Then it
showed humans with just a piece of some strange thing called ‘cloth’ wrapped on them. They
called it ‘swimming trunks’.
I think they all had the same disease, the males there. Their body was all shiny, and their arms
had weird cuts on them. The researcher called it ‘muscles’. It was the thing which made them
strong. Funny, they were kind of like tentacles here. Except, tentacles were stronger and lighter
at the same time.
Then it showed them going on some metal junk called cars. They were the major pollutants.
They weren’t even airborne. I couldn’t believe we had been so stupid and primitive. I watched
on. There were good points too. I was really jealous. They actually had tress growing all around
them. Amazing. The only tree I had seen was the on in the museum. And they spent almost 50
grand to keep it alive. There was a whole world of trees. Sighing, it turned the TV off and went
outside my room. “Don’t forget your oxygen tank and mask,” screeched my mom. No matter
how busy she as, she always knew what I was doing.
Not bothering to reply, I stepped outside. I switched on my smoke vision glasses and walked to
the museum. I was lucky. The next tour would start in 5 minutes. I really enjoyed the tour. There
were ‘fruits’ and best of all, I saw a pool of ‘water’. It looked so cool and clear, like the chemical
we drank when we were thirsty. I was even more amazed when the guide told us that humans
once drank water and not chemicals. They were truly lucky. I would have given anything for a sip
of water.
I looked at the time. It was very late. I took out my cellphone, the latest model. I could talk face
to face with my mom. I dialed her number. Her face appeared, looking angry and worried. I told
her to take my pouch and go to the spaceport, and that I would meet her there. I ran to the
nearest teleport center. Bad luck for me. It was in maintenance mode. I ran around the entire
mall, and finally saw another one. I put in $10 into the money receiver. The teleport machine
came to life. I punched in the code to the spaceport. The next second, I was at the spaceport.
I sat near the entrance, watching rockets taking off to the Moon, Venus and other places. There
were sonic spaceships too, for explorers wanting some fun. Of course, they never came back
half the time. But no one ever bothered about that.
Just then, my family arrived in a taxi hovercraft. I ran to meet them and together we went inside
the spaceport. After the customs, we were led to our rocket. Since my dad was the new head of
the U.S Oxygen Research Center in the moon, we had a V.I.P cabin all to ourselves. We could see
children running here and there. Often, a cool voice would be heard announcing found and lost
possessions, arrival and departures of rockets. My dad was a really quiet guy, but he was
important. I liked him and I was proud of him.
I sighed, buckled my belt, and wondered how life on the moon would be. Atleast there would be
no smoke there.

I plan to debut a BRAND NEW segment for CL Times #31. Hopefully it will give the future
editions more variety and a new flare. I'm not sure what it will be yet but the CL Members
we will give the ability to decide it so keep an eye out for a topic pertaining to this!

Unfortunately, there is no interview this weekend. Mainly my fault since I got too wrapped
up in other CL duties to send the template out to the person I was supposed to do it with.
Rest assured, you can bet this segment will return in the coming edition.
