Welcome to another blood pumping edition of the CL Times! It is I your headache bothered,
stomach cramped, leg swelled, nose stuffed host Top Kirby! Yeah, not feeling so hot tonight
but I shall do what I do best and that is make these a VERY fun read regardless.
I gotta say it's been a blast battling all of you CLers in Smash Brawl. We have some very
nice competetion so it should make for a solid & exciting Tournament when we get it going!
As most have noticed I'm starting to try out other new characters (Trying to master Zelda &
Sheik, Falco, etc.) So far R.O.B appears to be my best fighter! You don't see VERY many
excellent R.O.B players out there....well at least I haven't come across any others yet.
Well, anyways....lets get into the heart of this newsletter but like always....first the usual
CL Statistics Update!
CL now has 2,831 Members, over 80,000+ Posts, MAJOR Activity, INCREDIBLE Revamp and
a whole lot more! I'm about to make forum history very soon at CL as that will be the FIRST board
I have ever gone above 6,000+ posts. I think 5,500 was as high as I've ever gotten and that
was back on GSF ages ago. So yeah, just thought that would be an interesting little tidbit.

Freelance Writer's Haven #14
Welcome to another FWH installment! This week, we bring a story to you by one of our
newest CL Members Pandemonium called "More Then Human". We certainly hope that
you enjoy it! To read the rest, come on down to CL and scope out the "Creative Junction"

It was just midnight when I realized that everything had gone wrong. The wail of sirens only
urged my tired, and weary body that practically ached of fatigue. I could hear the sounds of
the explosion as it ripped the building apart. My target, my mission. I had failed, where had I
failed to see the subtle clues that they knew. I had been forced to act before the proper time,
and hence my current predicament. I was running from the cops, and they knew who I was.
Hell, they even had fingerprint identification. I was as good, as well..screwed. I could run, but
for how long before the meager earnings I made from my mercenary career ran dry.
I ran faster, urged on by the screaming sirens. I ran harder, ran until my lungs ached with pain.
I couldn't stop, not with how far in I was. I could not hope to run from them forever. I had failed,
and if the cops didn't get me. Well, then my contact would. He didn't accept failures, and I began
to wonder if this hadn't been anything but a set up all along. I raced through the alleyways,
climbing metal fences, and jumping cars in my desperate need to escape pursuit.
I heard it too late, the sound of tires screeching as they attempted to halt a vehicle moving much
too fast in a area much too small. I couldn't feel the disturbance in the air, nor could I hear the
sound of the horn. I felt it before my mind accepted the idea that it was there. My body was flung
like a piece of candy into the alley wall. The next thing I heard was a door being opened, and the
sound of running feet. Already my vision blurred, and I began to drift into the embracing arms of
unconsciousness.
"Help! Someone help me! I need an ambulance in the alley behind the Westminster Apartment
Complex, he is bleeding badly. Hurry..quickly! No! No! Stay awake!" The voice faded in an out as
I drifted deeper, and deeper into the blackness.
My bruised eyes opened into slits, and I observed a light flashing over my eyes..I could feel my
torn, and battered body being shifted onto something soft. I lifted a hand, and tried to wave them
off, but the motion was too much. I drifted back into unconsciousness. Before I knew what was
happening, I was watching myself from a different view. Watching from the beginning.

CL Newsbit #3 - Pokemon Wifi Tournament Set For May 1st!
No worries as this is the LAST pushoff for the Tourney. Ready or not, come May 1st
the Tournament will begin and the first match will take place. So I certainly hope your
team is close to completion. The Bracket will be posted April 25th so everyone can see
who is facing who.

Anime Judgement #12
Ging: Welcome to the Anime Judgement Segment for this week. I am your host Ging with the
three other co hosts. Kei, Nam, and Morendo. This week we are judging the anime Shuffle!
Morendo: Today you'll learn what a big pervert I am.
Kei: I have been waiting for this all week. xD
Nam: He is a pervert...
Ging: First Impressions anyone?
Nam: "Wow, this show sucks."
Morendo: I loved it. It was everything I wanted. EXCEPT I didn’t see as much fan service
in the beginning
Kei: Very good anime. Definitely one of the ones if you like the harem type. Also, it's definitely
something that appeals to my senses as a person. A must watch.
Ging: My first impression was "I can’t watch this s**t".
Kei: That was the only bad thing. And why is that Ging? Same question to Nam as well.
Ging: The plot is boring...the dialogue is lame as well.
Nam: Because it's generic. It's corny. It's so formulaic to the typical harem show. I didn't care
about the main character. And I could tell right off the bat that it was indeed a dating sim.
Ging: ^agree
Morendo: That's what she said.
Nam: Do you even know how that joke works?
Morendo: That's what she said.
Nam: Apparently not lol.
Morendo: That's also what she said.
Morendo: Corny? Corny? CORNY? Most harems I’ve seen make it blatantly obvious
who the guy ends up with. In this show, many options are explored I love the jokes; I love
the fact there was a group called the KKK. To bad we didn’t explore more of them.
Kei: You two miss the whole idea behind it.
Ging: No, we just like good anime. XD
Morendo: I like good anime too. This is one of them.
Kei: Yes, it may seem like a "corny harem" type Anime, but it's definitely got a darker side to it.
Nam: I hated the groupies. It's been done before. So are the goofy dads.
Morendo: I've never seen the groupie thing before.
Kei: I have, but this makes fun of the KKK a bit.
Nam: I was waiting for the turning point of the show...didn't know it would take 19 fuckin'
episodes to get there.
Kei: In the dub, they state "Not the guy in the sheets."
Morendo: And the goofy dads always make me laugh.
Nam: I don't think the Japanese know about the KKK...but then again, who knows.
Kei: I believe they do.
Ging: Some probably do, and most probably don’t care.
Nam: Sure, why not.
Kei: That's probably the best answer to that Ging.
Morendo: When you learn your history, you learn about the KKK. It’s not really about whether
they care; it's funny to see something else with the initials KKK. Even if they didn’t mean it to be
a reference to the KKK we know, it's funny to get an extra joke out of that.
Kei: And remember, they have the SSS and the NNN (Or was it the RRR?).
Nam: Yeah, it's a joke for the American audience but I don't think it was intentional for
the Japanese audience.
Kei: Did anyone figure out who that guy behind the pole was all the time?
Morendo: He shows up in like the last episode.
Morendo: We don’t ever learn much about him.
Nam: The creator? lol.
Kei: I know that. It didn't make sense on him.
Ging: Okay, moving on....Who was your favorite character?
Kei: I thought that too Nam. s**t...this is a HARD one.
Morendo: Who's that reporter chick who was basicaly flat cheated?
Morendo: Always hanging around with the self-proclaimed ladies man.
Kei: Mayuki I think was her name.
Morendo: Yeah, she's cool.
Kei: My favorite character would have to be Narine. Even though Asa is tied with her.
Nam: I think there were too many girls and not enough differentiation. Also, what’s with the
fantasy elements? There was no point considering the ending...and f**k Primula. I hate that
b**ch.
Morendo: Oh f**k you.
Kei: lol.
Nam: Asa...because she has character.
Kei: This is true. Asa definitely has some character behind her. That's what tied her with Nerine.
Ging: Mayuki for me, she wasn’t extremely superficial.
Nam: That one part was hilarious. *spoiler alert* It's down the road. Not across the street.

Kei: There was about five different ways to get her to do that. Slitting your wrist wasn't one
of those five. I think of that and get pissed every single time.
Morendo: I kind of figured that’s what he was going to do.
Kei: "RIN YOU FOOL!" Was what I screamed after he done that.
Nam: It was HILARIOUS. What other way to make her use magic? lol.
Morendo: I was like "rin...yes..DIE!"
Kei: I saw the box cutter and knew exactly what he was going to do.
Morendo: OOOOOOO how I hated Rin.
Ging: ...Fanboys...
Kei: Bite me Ging.
Kei: I have a question.. Least favorite character.
Morendo: RIn Because he's a b**ch who didnt have to do anything to have these
chicks fall head over heels for him. He flexes his arm and they fucking kiss his chest.
Kei: Remember Ryan, this anime is a pure harem move.
Ging: Just about every character. They were all unoriginal and poorly made at that.
Kei: I think the worse character was definitely Rin. Why...because of the simple fact he wasn't
to smart to figure out he would've wielded some pretty damn good power, and then he goes
and fucks most things up with the others.
Nam: Rin..what a clueless character. Every time a girl confesses to him, he just thinks. Oh that
great, but you know dot dot dot and it's over. I don't understand how the girls like him. He had
no character whatsoever.
Nam: I think the show would be better if it was a different genre. Here you got girls with
magical powers. Why not an action comedy involving the girls saving the guy's a**? It'd just
be more appealing to me. You don't have to make it over the top shonen-like, but good enough.
I like harems...this is the first I don't like.
Kei: I like harems a lot.
Morendo: I love tits and a** whether it's real or not.
Kei: It was good, but the main character lacked.
Kei: That's the only problem I saw within this.
Nam: I like shows with a good story..
Ging: What are the Positives of this show?
Kei: Positives? Some of the action with Nerine, and Sia's crazy side. Also, it seems that
Kaede is a Psychotic b**ch. Which makes me wonder where the hell they got them from.
Morendo: Kaedes part was THE BEST.
Ging: I think that that the best part was the credits...the way they rolled down the screen
so smoothly...
Kei: Also the lords of the different words were good comedy relief. Chairshots FTW.
Morendo: I love those guys.
Nam: There was this one scene that I actually found funny. It was the part where one of the
girls forgot her panties while she was serving food at that restaurant. It was hilarious. Other than
that, ummm...the guy picked the girl I wanted. The turning point actually made the show better
even though I thought it was too over-the-top at times. Some of the fanservice was nice.
Ging: Okay Negatives anyone?
Kei: Negatives? Rin. That and the fact is Mayuki didn't get enough exposure either. That and
the Goddess friend of Asa's. Even though she was a bit...loopy.
Ging: There wasn’t much of a real interesting story line it was just boring for me.
Nam: Animation was average, which is okay. It's by this little known company called asread
which I never even heard of, but they did Minami-Ke ~Okawari which was okay. Ummm..story
isn't too original. It kind of dragged on too long for me with all of the fanservice. I think the
show would've been better if it was cut to ~12 episodes. I think the turning point made the
show way better even though it's technically not a harem anymore but some weird over-the-top
drama with fantasy elements. Uhhh..The show was just meh. I probably said enough negatives
over the course of the segment.
Kei: They did make Memories. Which did cut the fanservice down by a lot.
Morendo: Booo.
Ging: Anyways....If you would give it a rating 1-10 what would it be?
Kei: 8.
Morendo: 7/10
Ging I would give it a 10/10 outstanding....xD Just kidding, I'd give it a 3.4/10
Kei: I would give it a lower score, but there were a lot of saves in it.
Nam: 4/10 ...3/10 at the beginning. 5/10 at episode 19+. Don't recommend the show.
It's not my kind of show. If I want to be turned on, I would rather watch a porno, not a show
with just fanservice and a rather generic storyline. Animation was meh, story was meh, music
was meh, the characters were meh, it's a very meh show.
Morendo: I wasn’t watching the show to be "turned on" just so we're clear.
Nam: Yeah you were. Don't lie.
Morendo: No, I wasn’t lulz i have the game.
Nam: There you go.
Ging: Last words anyone?
Kei: I recommend the Anime if you like "harem" type shows.
Morendo: Last words. If you don’t like this show you're a giant faggot. That means you
Ging and Nam.
Nam: The show sucks. Don't watch it. Watch Tenchi or Love Hina or Clannad (which isn't
a harem but it's just better).
Morendo: Clannad lulz sure go with what the rest of the world is watching.
Nam: ...and Ryan is a faggot.
Morendo: That's what she sai...no...
Nam: The rest of the world? lol.
Morendo: The rest of the anime world.
Nam: It's a new show, of course the rest of the anime world is talking about it. It just ended
like a couple of weeks ago.
Ging: I recommend this show if you like shitty plots, unoriginal characters and an over
supply of fanserive as a last attempt to save it.
Morendo: You fail ging. ging is the biggest faggot here.
Morendo: Oh well.
Nam: That's what she said? Does that work?
Ging: xDDDDDDDDDDDDD because I don’t like excessive fanservice backed by no plot

I may do this on the 15th depending on how our activity looks. If it's still decent/solid I'll leave
it alone for the month but if I notice only 5 to 6 members on a lot then I will most likely do it as I

Welcome to another fantastic & memorable CL Member Interview! Today, I TK will
be sitting this one out to take a break. My replacement co-host is our fellow CL Manager
Syarith! Today, he will be sitting down with Ryan AKA Morendo...better known to most
as TheFad1ngMemory! Certainly hope you all enjoy!
Syarith: Ok sorry for the inconvience and the delay.. An old hag came in my room and started
annoying me about homework, homework, homework! ALL she ever fuckin' talks about.
Syarith: I call her, Monster Grandma.
Morendo: I see XD
Syarith: Anyway.... Let us begin.
Morendo says: Yayyy
Syarith: Damn..another delay. This may take a while.
Syarith: Here we go..NOW let us begin.
Syarith: Here we today have the CL Times #32, With I, Syarith, once again. This edition we
have our guest of honor in the hot seat as Morendo. Great to have you here!
Morendo: That must be TKs intro.
Morendo: It just feels like TK
Morendo: Not that anything is wrong with that.
Morendo: Great to be talking with you though. XD
Syarith: TK's intro is simply "Great to have you here." I added my own physique and,
passazz(sp?) If you will to it... you know, uniqueness. Anyways, moving right along.
Morendo: I see XD
Syarith: The question I shall begin with is: How did you come across forums?
Morendo: It was a very very long time ago, like i dont know..around 8 years ago. something
like that, maybe 7. All i know is i was young. My dad found a program for me called "zelda
classic" and i wanted to learn everything i could about it...and get some new quests. So i asked
my dad where i could get such things. He pointed me to the zelda classic home page (which no
longer has th sames forums i was at) and i snuck myself a registration on that board. Boy was i
a major noob. <_>
Syarith: Your first forum that you joined, What was it?
Morendo: It was at Zelda Classic. It wasjust Zelda Classic forums.
Syarith: During your time there, Did you happen to meet and befriend anyone in
that community?
Morendo: Nope, it was a pretty lonely place...
Syarith: Have you ever created your own forums? If applicable, do tell, and mention whether
they were successful(even if to a certain extent) or not.
Morendo: The first board i made was a proboard, which was succesful, which moved onto
my first invisonfree board called "Mags boards" (we moved because we all realized proboards
sucks balls") which was succesful then hit a downtime, a little later i befriended TK (he had
names like Supergohama and stuff) and he gave my forum a somewhat of a boost. It as running
great and we had our own webcomic and everything. Until one day it was torn apart instantly in
a hellish fire storm of drama. Any board i have attempted to make after that failed really.
Syarith: Do you have any favorites of forums that you visit daily? You can mention several, or
even very little if you want.
Morendo: Gemz Shining Forums..Community Lounge, and SoS Brigade. Minitokyo but i dont
really post there.
Syarith: What forum software do you like the most?
Morendo: I dont know, I guess invisonfree. I want to be more famaliar with
Zetabords though.
Syarith: Now then, to drift off into a world of personal questions.
Syarith: To start off in that world, I'll ask the question [which is probably needless to ask
because mostly everyone knows the answer to already]: WHAT.....Is your real name?
Morendo: Ryan! But my real first name is Camerino. Ryan is my middle name.
Syarith: (Very interesting.....I think I heard something about that on GSF once when I lurked
around on it a few months back..Caught that in the SB i believe)
Syarith: In what area do you settle in? Is the area enjoyable, and what does it have to
offer, if anything?
Morendo: Eh? I dont get that question.
Syarith: (TK's simpler version: Where do you live? It it nice and does it have a lot to offer?)
Morendo: I live in Louisiana, close to New Orleans. It's a okay place to live but kind of boring.
I'm not the kind of person who does down town (to new orleans") to have fun.
Morendo: My internet is giving me probems, hold on. let me restart my connection.
Syarith: Alright. Interview Intermission commencing...started.
Morendo: Alright back.

Syarith: Now then, where were we?..Ah yes..the land of personals.
Syarith: What do you like to do when you are not online? What are your hobbies outside of
[the access to] the internet?
Morendo: I like to just hang out with my friends. Sometimes we chill at the lakefront, most of
the time we're just running around. I like to go on bike rides...someone stole my bike today
actually...
Syarith: What are your favorite consumer goods? As prior stated in a previous question, you
are welcome to name several if you would like to.
Morendo: Consumer goods? Is this like my favorite snack or something?
Syarith: Consumer goods = "fancy" vocubulary for "food(s) and drink(s)".
Morendo: I really like Dr.Pepper....cant figure out why alot of people look down on it. And
as for snacks i'm not to sure..i guess i like...chee-wees and uh..hmm klondike bars! XD
Syarith: (I like it too.. maybe they dont like it because they know it to be an "off brand" or w/e
the hell.But i did research on it and it said that the original DP formula is in "Mr. Pibb" and s**t
like that..Plus I think most dont know that Dr. pepper was originally a coke product then they
sold it to pepsi because something happened and pepsis had it ever since.. But idk. Anyway,
on with the interview.
Syarith: What are a wide(or narrow) variety of your favorite animes and/or television shows?
And again you may please to name as many as you like.]
Morendo: Favorite animes? Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann defintly takes first place. I also have
Cowboy bebop , Girls Bravo, and Love hina in my favorites list . Regular television i really like
The Simpsons. XD
Syarith: At this point in time are you in a relationship? If so, how are things going with it?
Morendo: Nope. Haha, not in a relationship XD
Syarith: I am puzzled at why you think that is so funny.
Morendo: Because it's me <_< thats why XD
Syarith: XD!
Syarith: What are some of your favorite songs and books? Again you can name several
if you would like.
Morendo: Books! BAH! All fact and no heart! Songs? I have way too many favorite songs, but
if anyone cares i'm listening to the cowboy bebop OST right now.
Syarith: There are fiction and fantasy books too, you know....
Morendo: THERE ARE??
Syarith: XD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Syarith: I love how you're not taking me seriously. Seriously it makes me feel better than
I was. You're making me laugh for real.
Syarith: ...Wait a minute. Did I just use the word "Seriously" twice? In ONE IM? Seriously, that's
like, totally tubular, mate.
Morendo: Tubular, gnarly, radical words.
Syarith: OMG I DID IT AGAIN.
Morendo: Srsly.
Syarith: Indeed... I hate the new 21st century phrases we have now... i prefer 80s
phrases and sayings.
Morendo: XD
Syarith: Oh yeah.
Syarith: I had a dream once.. and it had to do with youtube. And then, it was like..a youtube
CEO and co workers meeting thing... and then the founderr of the site said, "I think we need
to get more...original with our slogan. I mean , "Broadcast Yourself"? What the hell were we
talking? Over HALF the members of the site don't even do that! We should change it to
- YouTube - Get Tubular!"
Syarith: What a HORRIBLE nightmare... putting a word like that to such horrid disgrace.
Morendo: Yes, it would. I can only thank the heavens that it was merely a dream and not
...uh...real! Hey, what'd the people look like?
Syarith: Iunno. They were all white except for 3 of them. There were 10. One of the 3 was
Asian but you couldnt really tell because they had a white skintone, but the eyes gave it away
that he was asian.
Syarith: The other 2 were African American.
Morendo: I bet the asian guy suggest get tubular. Asians are always trying to put a new
spin on something..or..in this case..a old spin?
Syarith: An old horrid disgraceful spin, to add.
Syarith: I am thankful it was a dream too... oh dear god...I got nightmares just talking
about it. Anyway...Moving right along.
Syarith: What pet(s) do you have, if any?
Morendo: 3 cats. Pookie Mur, and Praline. All cats female, All cats old. All have lost their
fucking minds. Praline smells really really bad.
Syarith: s**t.. I really went out of order. I was supposed to ask that after the anime & TV
shows question and before the relationship question. Oh well, better late than never
I suppose.
Morendo: Hmm mayhaps.
Syarith: What's your favorite video game and console(s)? Yet again you may name
several if you wish.
Morendo: I dont have a favorite video game, i guess i really like Brawl right now though.
O_O as for console i also have no clue.
Syarith: We are just about done. May the audience hear from you your final comments,
if you have any?
Morendo: I have nothing intelligent to say. Really sucks that i cant say anything cool ....
but if you see the kid who stole my fucking bike. Kill him. If you see any kids on a bike.
