Welcome to another informative & innovative edition of the CL Times! It is I your Cable Loving,
Dial Up Hating, Satellite Raving, DSL Ranting host Top Kirby! Gotta love internet connections.
I must say our Activity Level has taken a nice leap and were getting more human members
then bots lately and that is ALWAYS awesome to see. Oh yeah, the new Friday league started
the other day...the "Perfect Skore" league. Unfortunately, there are only (4) Teams right now!
Each team is supposed to consist of three people and two of the teams only have (2) members.
Yeesh, hopefully more people enter this one. On the bright side, the "Big Bucks Trio" starting
in May will have a hell of a lot more teams and will be more intense so I suppose I can use
Friday's league to practice and start honing my skill for the Big Bucks. The 1st place team
gets 1,000 bucks so yeah...I REALLY want to win that.
Ok, well I believe I have yacked on for long enough! Now lets get on to the CL Statistics Update!

CL Newsbit #2 - CL Times Shuffle Coming Soon!
Syarith brought up an interesting idea for me to try later down the road. That idea is for
me to relinquish control of completing the CL Times to someone else and let them take
control for one edition with some possible new segments of their own.
It doesn't sound like a bad idea and CL Times is always about shaking things up
occasionally so stay tuned for more info on this as it becomes available.

"The Dawn Breaks" - By Idolo
The dawn breaks and the orange moon shine beyond the dark black sea. With the reflection of
the moon in the water. I felt as ease and waiting for me to pass me slowly. The change inside me
is not what i wanted. I wanted something esle but not this. This creature inside me, that lurk deep
inside me. The craving for human blood. The thrill of murder. My nerves get into shock and I
cannot feel a thing. A feeling.. there is none lefted. Just a bitter person. A bitter girl. I stared at
the ground where my victim laid. I wipe off the blood from my lips and grined. Is this the path that
I wanted. The path to escape from the other path that i couldn't run away. Is running away what
is best of me? I picked up the dead body and threw it in the sea. To the person I took a life from.
I am feeling no regret that i have taken your life. I just hope that you will forgive me for doing
such a disgusting thing. YES! It disgust me, but yet it's the only way I can live. Death wasnt
enough for me, and yet i go day by day killing, murdering, mothers, fathers, sons, daughters,
child, babies. Inorder for me to live. I blame the man! It was all his fault.
Someone whisper, "This is what you wanted right? This is your wish isn't it? All the people you
took. Their lives. Don't tell me you don't know who they are."
I closed my eyes and fell to the ground. No please don't remind me of who i took as my
victims... Please no... I cried.
"They were you're... fa...mi........."
I turned around and a wind blew passed me. With tears in my eyes. How can i do such a horrible
thing. It was only a wish, something that is not possible to happen. What have i done? Why must
it happen?
And again I passed out.

Syarith's Cinema Critique #1
Hello fellow CL Times audience. Today I, Syarith, shall review "Meet The Spartans". All I can
say on that is it was a pointless snorefest and that it wasn't even remotely funny. The only thing
I even CONSIDERED funny is their Cloverfield spoof with the whole YouTube and Chris Crocker
thing. "LEAVE BRITNEY ALONE!!!!!!!!!!!!" hahah that never gets old. Anyways this movie gets
1.5 stars from me.
Others who have seen it may not take too kindly to my opinion, but that's their problem.

Welcome to another informative & pleasent CL Member Interview! Today I will sit down
with Jenny. She's a good online friend on my MSN and she also posts on quite a few IF
boards including CL. Anyways, hope you all enjoy1
TK: Great to have you here!
Jenny: Not used to being interviewed, but nice to be here! =]
TK: My first question to get the ball rolling, how did you begin getting involved with forums?
Jenny: Well, I first joined Gamewinners and a forum that one of my friends made back in
2006. Just joined a few more forums from there, and so on.
TK: Did you meet & make any friends there?
Jenny: At my first couple of forums? Yep! Even though I only talk to one or two people
from them, we're still pretty close. ^^
TK: Did you ever create & co-own a board? If so, was it successful and a fun experience?
Jenny: I created a couple of boards when I first started foruming, and although they weren't
successful, I learned a lot. I've co-owned quite a few boards since then, and they've definitely
been fun experiences.
TK: What are some of your most favorite boards to visit on a daily basis?
Jenny: Forum Boost, Lucrative Studios, The Anizone, The IFSZ, and The Curse Infinitum.
TK: What kind of board do you prefer? IF, IPB, Phpbb, VBulletin, etc?
Jenny: Eh, I'm not really picky about the forum software. I know Invisionfree inside and out,
but I've been starting to use Jcink a lot more lately. I'm not sure which my favourite is, thought.
TK: Now to touch down with you on a personal level! What's your real name?
Jenny: My real name is Jennifer. =]
TK: Where do you live? Is there a lot to do there?
Jenny: I live in a small town in Florida, and there isn't much to do here at all.
TK: What are some of your hobbies away from the Internet?
Jenny: Music is definitely a big hobby of mine. I listen to a little of everything, basically.
I also play guitar, and a few other instruments. Reading, writing sports, graphics, and
gaming are a few of my other hobbies.
TK: What's your favorite Anime & TV Shows to watch? Your welcome to name several!
Jenny: I haven't watched all that much anime recently, but Bleach and Naruto seem
pretty good. I've seen some Hellsing as well. As for TV shows, I love Scrubs, House,
CSI, Law & Order, Degrassi, American Idol, etc etc.
TK: What's your favorite Video Games & Consoles? Your welcome to name several!
Jenny: Hm, I love the classics. XD NES, N64, Sega Genesis, etc. Sonic, Zelda, Super Smash
Bros. As for the newer games, I like Halo, SSBM, Final Fantasy, Guitar Hero, TimeSplitters, etc.
TK: Are you in a relationship? If so how is it going?
Jenny: Yes, actually. It's going quite well! ^_^
TK: Have any pets? If so please tell us about them!
Jenny: I have a lot of pets, actually. I have 4 dogs; they're all pretty small. I also
have 2 cats, and about 15 birds.
TK: What's your favorite music & books to read? Your welcome to name several!
Jenny: Well, I have a very diverse taste in music. Some of my favourite bands/artists
are Arctic Monkeys, Interpol, Rascal Flatts, Carrie Underwood, Taylor Swift, Metallica,
Disturbed, Rage Against the Machine, haha, there's so many more. xD As for books,
I really liked The Book Thief. The Battle of Jericho was also a pretty good book.
TK: Do you have a job & or go to School? If so what do you hope to accomplish & major in?
Jenny: I don't have a job at the moment. Right now I'm a full-time student. I'm a freshman
in high school, and I plan on attending the University of Florida to major in Agricultural
Education or Music.
TK: What's your favorite food & drink? Your welcome to list several!
Jenny: Hm, another toughy. I'm not a picky eater at all. I love pizza, pasta, fruit,
etc. As for drinks, my favourites are tea, Pepsi, Mountain Dew, Dr. Pepper, and Root Beer.
TK: Last but not least, anything else that you would like to share with our audience?
Jenny: Well, I'm a pretty friendly person, and I do to chat with new people & make new

Anime Judgement #14
Ging: Welcome to the Anime Judgement Segment, I am your Master Host, Ging, along with my
three underlings: Jason (Kei), Ryan (Mor3ndo), and Nam (Nam).
Morendo: S**t bricks episode.
Kei: Boo.
Nam: DO YOU WANT TO TOUCH MY BREASTS!?!?!?!
Morendo: NYUUUUUUUUUUUU.
Nam: Nyyyyuuuuu???
Kei: -smacks Nam with a sledgehammer-
Morendo: Elfen Lied, a anime that has everything from pedophiles to exploding chests.
Ging: First Impressions Guys.
Morendo: My first impression "this anime is very very disturbing. Do we really need this much
pointless stupidity?"
Kei: I loved Elfen LIed. It's dark, yet has it's funny side. And with the duel setup with Lucy
and Nyuu, it's definitely an interesting storyline.
Ging: My first impression was "HOLY s**t. HOLY s**t YUUUUUUUUUM" blood and breasts.
Kei: lol.
Nam: First Impression: The first 7 minutes intrigued me and was hoping it would eventually
have a good story for the opening.
Morendo: I enjoyed the anime, but it's pretty damn dumb.
Ging: Favorite characters guys?
Morendo: That one guy who got his head ripped off.
Kei: I actually like Nana. Just because of her soft side, but yet, she can get nasty
if she needs to.
Nam: Lucy because she fucks things up. The rest are a bunch of pussies.
Kei: I knew you would say that Nam.
Morendo: The main male character is defintly a joke.
Ging: Actually, I agree. I liked Lucy.
Kei: Lucy was good as well.
Morendo: Yeah well I like whoever died all of those people.
Kei: I had several characters that were my favorite.
Morendo: Because they needed too.
Ging: Anyways, what was your favorite scene? *****SPOILERS******
Morendo: The dog who got beat to death with a vase.
Morendo: Was my LEAST FAVORITE SCENE TO EVER HAPPEN IN A TV SHOW EVER.
Ging: I liked the amputation of the bawls talk.
Nam: All the characters are just fuckin' archetypes of otaku fetishes. You got a dumbass
moe girl, you got a loli that was suggested to have actually gotten rape, you got the childhood
friend who happens to be a tsundere to the fuckin' extreme, and you got the fuckin' incest girl
that wants the dude's cock.
Kei: Favorite scene would be the beginning.
Morendo: Who's the incest chick?
Nam: And that Nana girl is pretty moe too.
Kei: The incest chick would be Yuka.
Ging: Least favorite characters?
Morendo: The male main character.
Ging: Yeah Him.
Kei: Kouta
Morendo: Yeah.
Morendo: Kouta.
Ging: Sure.
Kei: He was definitely a fool. And sad part is he thought about the incest as well. Yuka follows
behind him in the worst character part.
Nam: Main male character. The most generic character ever. Another dumbass harem character
that can't do s**t. And for f**k's sake, what is with him and having all these girls living in his
house? It's another harem. Goddamnit. Ya'll tricked me.
Kei: We didn't trick you.
Ging: xD yeah. So what are the positives of this anime. MIne are gore and tits.
Morendo: Yeah the positives plenty of tits and whatnot, and lots of blood if that's your thing.
Kei: Definitely the fighting.
Nam: I fuckin' hate the gore and tits...but I'll explain why later.
Kei: But it also has some interesting points.
Kei: But what's the positive for you Nam?
Morendo: You hate gore and tits?
Nam: Positives: I enjoyed the ending. It's really hard to believe that Lucy just so happens to be
on that same beach as the main guy and they actually had a past. But I do enjoy the revealing
past. I can suspend my disbelief for that at least.
Ging: Negatives?
Nam: And I like the part at the end about the clock and the music box **Spoiler**Think
about it. The music box stops. The broken clock works.
Ging: Negatives?
Kei: The story kind of hits a dead end.
Ging: *13 episodes*
Morendo: Negatives too much gore if that aint your thing. I also thought it was just one tragic
moment after the next to the point where I stopped caring. Like I said...after I saw the dog get
beat to death I just realized that...well...f**k...
Morendo: Also the thing with Lucy and koutas family was too freakin' obvious.
Ging: Negatives for me would be the animations were par, the music sucked, and
it was very predictable.
Nam: Negatives: This is some exploitative bullshit. Now, I'm a fan of gore and tits, but this
show isn't good at it at all. All of the fights were boring. And the gore was there for the sake
of gore. When I think of good anime with blood, I think of End of Evangelion, Akira, and even
Cowboy Bebop (even though it didn't have a lot). The blood and stuff had a point. In Elfen Lied,
it's jsut there. They make it pornographic. Plus, I don't enjoy this show. It tries to be all artsy and
shocking but in the end it just pulls a lot of clichés in anime like the childhood friend, the loli, the
moe girl, it's all there. I can understand if that was a parody but it's not. It sucked.
Ging: Wow.
Nam: And a thing about the nudity, it was stupid. There was no point in it but to be EXPLOITATIVE.
I don't understand the point of it. In Akira, there was a reason why the girl got her shirt ripped off.
There's a point as to why Rei was naked in End of Evangelion. There's a reason why the Major
was naked in Ghost in the Shell. This movie just did it to be pornographic.
Morendo: Yeah what Nam said.
Morendo: About the l...originality...and stuff I guess.
Morendo: He says alot of stuff better then me.
Kei: I can't disagree with part of what Nam stated.
Ging: Neither can I.
Ging: Okay scores out of ten? Mine is 6.2/10
Morendo: 6.5/10
Kei: 7.2/10
Nam: 4/10. I was originally going to give it 7/10..but the more I think about it the more I hate
myself for liking it and I ended up hating the show overall. The ending was the only thing that
got me, and the only reason why I can somewhat forgive the show.
Ging: lol how do you go from 7 to 4?
Morendo: lolwur
Morendo: I mean despite the flaws it has I still enjoy the show.
Ging: Agree.
Kei: I agree with Ryan and Ging.
Ging: Alright final words.
Kei: Good anime, a few problems, but definitely worth a watch.
Morendo: Watch it...if you're bored!
Nam: I initially enjoyed it, but that was because I was burning through it. I like my shows to have
meaning. This show had no fuckin' meaning. I was reading the wiki about how this show was
suppose to convey the cruelty of man. I was thinking, okay this show is trying to convey
something. Maybe I'm not suppose to enjoy it as entertainment. Maybe the show is suppose
to make me think...but it doesn't. It sucks a**. That's why it went from 7 to a 4.
Nam: Don't watch it. It's bullshit. It has no meaning. There are no real likable characters.
The fighting sucks. It's gay. You hear that Syarith? Gay.
Morendo: You're gay.
Nam: Nice one.
Morendo: Exactly.
Kei: -sits on both Ryan and Nam-
