I'm going against the mainstream by saying COWBOYS ARE THE BEST. SERIOUSLY, TAKE A LOOK AT THE OLD WESTERN MOVIES, COWBOYS WERE FUCKING AWESOME.

That is your main source of Ninja's today. They all suck. You also have Ryu Hayabusa, the ninja who would have been rated the worst had Naruto not appeared. Seriously, what kind of a Ninja lets himself get shot by a woman with a dart gun? The Pirates have Captain Jack Sparrow, Barbosa, Davy Jones and other assorted pirate captains. Also, we get Shredder, who is more likely to side with the Ninja Turtles enemies rather then side with the Ninja's.

Pirates, they're just awesome. Their movies are better and ninjas are overdone.
