Title: Hunting A Murderer
Description: Chapter 1

Syarith - May 6, 2008 01:59 AM (GMT)
"There, there, laddy! You'll see your folks again soon, no doubt about it!" Said the strange adult, age unknown. The boy responds with whimpering and tears, no words spoken. The man loses his patience and becomes frustrated. "Come on, boy! Forget 'em, they di'n't love ya anyway, laddy! They hid that fact from ya, and I know this, your father was nothing but a pig who thought he could be a responsible parent, and when ya were only 5, he died in a careless automobile accident! Ya wanna know why, young lad?! 'Cause he di'n't pay attention to those around him, he could not show the same affection and love for his wife that he could before, they drifted apart, they divorced, all because of one minor setback! They fought over ya, laddy! And look where ya are now, your mommy's been takin' good care of ya it seems, for the past thirteen and a half years, it would seem? And now you lost her as well, so you're on your own now. Only if you believe in faith will you ever see your parents again! . . . There is also one thing they did not tell you either! . . . "

The boy turned around and gave the strange man a glare that would devastate him. The boy slowly walked away. While he was halfway away from the adult, he decided to go back. He faced the adult and continued to glare at him. The adult strengthened his anger and frustration by simple impatience.

"Ahh!! Fucking brat! Who do ya think ya are, jus' waltzin' in 'ere and staring at me like that?! I'll teach you a thing or two about messin' with me!" Swiftly he grabbed the kid, lifting him up high and off the ground, then threw him into a corner.

"That son of a b--" As the boy was getting ready to conclude his statement, the adult rushed to him, took off his belt and starting hitting the kid with it, and he hit harder and harder and harder. "Ahhh!!!!...Uggh!!!..Gaah!!!..!" The boy screamed. It was sure now that he had no hope, though he still had strength left, but a very minimal amount.

The man took out a knife and his gun. "Hehehehehehehehehehhehehe! Now then , how should I kill the remains of your family, How would you like me to KILL you?!!!!"

The boy cowered in fear, and quaking he asked, "Who....who the hell are you?! Are you crazy?!...What do you have against my family? What do you have against me?! Answer me!..." The man did not give in to the kids demands. "I don't take orders from you! Now get on your knees and beg for mercy you f***er, and fall to the ground like a fucking dog!...." The boy was scared, he knew he could not run away because he would get chased if he had, and perhaps shot and fallen, so he stayed where he was.
"No." he said. The man was surprised the small child would not listen to him.

"I said get on your knees and beg, you f***er!"

"I said no."

"So you refuse to respect your elders? . . . Then I guess we must do this . . . the hard way."

"No! Please, don't kill me! . . . I have my whole life ahead of me! . . . I'm too young to die!"

"Sorry, but you insisted! . . . but first . . . let me tell you the truth about what happened to your parents!..."

"I thought you just told me?"

"Do you really expect to believe everything someone says? There are liars out in this world, laddy, but now I will tell you the truth."

"So, tell."

"Very well then. It was when you were 5 years old. Your father and mother were concerned of you and the dangers that may uphold you when you are older . . . and look where you are now. That's a different story, however. Your father was so concerned that he moved away and never saw your mother again, but he did make it to his destination, but when he got there he did not la?st very long . . . because I interfered. I never liked him, so I decided to cut his throat and put an end to his misery after he told me about you. I disintegrated and disposed of the body soon after...as for your mother . . . after I called her and lied to her about your father, not completely though. He had leukemia for quite a while. Because she knew he did, I thought it'd be appropriate to tell her that he died of it. Then, she said these exact words, "Well . . . I suppose it doesn't matter of Del's safety now . . ." Yes Del! She didn't care if you were safe anymore! You know what she did next?! The fool . . . after seeing you grow up, for 4 more years, do you recall when at age 9 she mysteriously disappeared?.."

"Yes, I do . . . "

"Do you want to know why she hasn't returned in the last 4 years? . . . It's because she gave up, Del! She committed suicide because she didn't want to risk your safety!"

"...Foolish mortal. I can't believe you, though! You killed my father and caused my mother to kill herself because of your lies! . . . You sir are the worst person I have ever met!"

"But you have met me, haven't you?! That's right, Del! I killed your father, and now I'm going after you! . . . Now beg! Beg for mercy you fucking dog!"

"And if I were . . . to refuse?"

"Then I'll kill you just as I did your father!..."

"Go ahead. I'm not afraid of you, nor death! . . . It would be nice to reunited with my parents again. They are expecting me."

"You fool! Once dead, you'll never see anything or ANYONE again! Not even your good for nothing goody-two-shoes parents!"

"As long as I have hope and faith, I know I'm always with them and will be reunited with them even when I go to the afterlife."

"You're a fool! . . . Faith is for LOSERS! Like your pathetic family . . . I am ashamed to even know who your father was, because he was a weak, spineless fool back in college! . . ."

"Then do it. Kill me now... it's what you wanted. It's been your dream to wipe out my family . . . and I'm the last of them, right here, in front of you. Why haven't you killed me yet if you wanted to end the existence of my family at long last?"

"It's always been my dream to rid your family of this world, since you're the only one left . . ." He pulled his gun and his hand was shaking. His desire to pull the trigger was so strong he could have done it, but he did not. He put the gun back and said, "...I...I can't do it. Don't expect to be lucky next time, kid . . . you will die at my hands before you know it. Heed my warning Del . . . for when the right moment comes, the maximum punishment shall be yours."

The man turns around and walks the other way, leaving. Del looks down, noticing an identification card on the ground. He goes down on his knees and picks it up. The name on the ID is a name of a mass murderer: Odakota O. Qualls. After putting away the ID into his pocket, he only says one thing regarding Qualls, "......Prick."
