Since CL at the moment lacks any real kinds of contest, I figure I would try to ignite a flame in all of our Smash contenders here. We have quite a lot of them now so this should garner much participation!

You see....what I plan to do is start a NORMAL Singles Tourney and the winner will get a SWEET looking Custom Championship Belt with their name on it to add to their signature AND they will be awarded Wii points to purchase a VC game!

Also, I plan to start a Tag Team Tourney! So if you can find a partner to practice with and win....you'll both recieve Custom Tag Belts with your name on them AND you will recieve FREE advertising. (Button Bracket below, bump your ad if it's already there, affiliation, the whole 9 yards!)

If anyone has any ideas to add or contribute please say so! I'm open to any other suggestions.

Trigger, we have tried a lot of contests and all barely got any participation at all. Caption Of The Week, Signature Of The Week, Drawing Contest, Deal Or No Deal type contest, etc. All of them flopped very fast.

Brawl is very popular and a lot of CLers play it so I'm trying to see if we can hit a Home Run with this one.

For some reason a big board like this simply cannot do contests. <_< Even Referrals never get any progress.

But I'll proably enter once sign-ups start. Wonder who I should use anyway...

I think we should of done something like halo 3 but thats just me. Maybe we can have comps like this every month or so and just cycle through diffrent online multiplayer games?

haklo 3 is older then brawl. But if you were going to cycle through hames you'd have to make sure who's ever hosting it also has the game and has knowledge of the game. It would be very difficult to pull that off dont you think?

I'd be more interested in mixing it up in a Dawn of War: SoulStorm tournament, something that I actually have a chance at getting in third or second place. Besides....... My Wii is still busted. Been too damn lazy to take it to the shop to get it looked at.

There are a ton of decent CL Brawlers here for this, TK, Morendo, Me, Ging, Tidus, SMRPG, Tutan, Arreksu, Kei, Poptart and a bunch more would be interested. You really need to get a Wii Syarith. <_<

I've tried all I can. Even eCommerce websites like eBay or Amazon didn't help me....And hell, before that Wally World, Target, Sears, and other stores didnt have them either....and not even GameStop has them...I have no idea how people down here got their hands on it...I mean.. I went to all those places at launch date and guess what, they didnt have them. WTF!
