Due to quite a few complaints with the "Get Active" PMs, I'm going to push them off to a TWO to THREE month time span from now on as I don't want it to come off as a constantly nagging menace.

The main reason I was doing it a lot lately is because our NEW Mailing List is still kinda faulty (Kei is still working on fixing these issues) and we have no real way to get in contact with all of our members. So I hope you'll all forgive me.

Another minor reason would be that this is the last board I'm ever running so god forbid anything happens to CL, I'm pretty much gonna retire from forums so I want this place to always remain strong & united. Also, I want to end my last run on a VERY good note as most of my other ones ended up in disaster.

But anyways, stay tuned for more news in the CL Times #37 regarding this.

Anyway..the get active pms ...it seems silly to do it at all especially in a wide month span like that. Most members can turn notifications off and they wont recieve a email even if you do PM them. What you should do is "get active e-mails" if anything. Email each individual member..i assume you PM each individual member.

We found a fix around the mailing problem. I'm working on it with TK now.

The PMs make you feel wanted? TK doesnt even pay attention to the individual he's sending them to. HE just sends the same basic message to every inactive member..why would you feel wanted?

I gurantee alot less people are going to be reading it if you dont post it up here.

Thank god! I dont even get the PMs for obvious reasons but if I was getting them I know I would be annoyed as hell lol.

You should keep a list of all the people that dont want to get the PMs and tell them in the PMs how not to get them anymore, or maybe you already do this i dont know xD.

We tell them what to do but instead of doing that they decide to complain some more without even bothering to read any of the instructions we give to stopping it which suggest they just want to complain about something.

How about no personal messages? How about an email or something less annoying?
