Just tell us how you found your way to Invisionfree in general.

I was a member at the old old GameShark forums and a friend of mine who went by Rob/TheEnd/The-End made a forum on InvisionFree and PMed me a link to it so I checked it out and saw it was IF. At the time, I had no idea what InvisionFree was so I wondered if he paid for it (I didn't even know what the board was hosted on). He told me it was on a free service called InvisionFree.

I looked around Invisionfree.com and it looked nice enough so I joined some more IF boards and got hooked. Though most of the boards have since died out. Even The-End's as he quit using forums like 4 - 5 years ago. I miss him to this day. He was a true friend. He was also the reason why I downloaded MSN messenger. Until then I was on AIM only.

Some good memories.

I dont really remember but i do remember that i was searching for free forums for some odd reason and that how i found it.

I found IF on a Zelda Classic Forum called "Armageddon Games" a few years ago.

I found the site advertised in another forum and thought i would check it out

To be truthful, I don't remember. I was always more a fan of using PhpBB. But since modifications have become more desirable, and the only Php that's possible with is BB3 I believe, it became prudent to go with the flow.

I found invisionfree way back in the day when my sister and I wanted to get a forum for my sister's Cats the musical fanfiction site. That would be back in 2002 or something.

I've been hooked ever since. That night I registered MC153 [IF's most successful Music forum to date]

This was July 9^th 2005.

I was a regular at the Y7 message boards, and one day someone came trolling for members for a board that we hadn't heard of.
I clicked on the link that had been posted and found that it was an invision board, haven't looked back since.

I was a member of a vBulletin forum and an ADMIN of a forum invited me to his. It was an IF board.
