A culture can be defined as many things... What do you think defines a culture?

A unique art style (Music, art, etc.), way of living, customs/traditions, society, etc.

Communication of different ideas

That's what culture is in my opinion.

Culture is an abstract thing, it's not easy lie defined. Alot of things going to other countries then it was originally from. Most things associated with Hollands cultural heritage aren't Dutch by origin. Tulips for example are Turkish, Windmills probably from ancient times, Clogs are probably from somewhere else too, a nation continues to evolves it's culture to stay strong and keep on growing. There has been a debate in Holland because one minister said Holland will evolve from a Judean-Christian society to an Judean-Islamic-Christian society eventually. Things that would be "foreign" now could be "normal" in a relative short while then. So technically speaking culture would be: Certain things that are typical for a nation/tribe and so on but it's to broad to really describe as that

The culture's traditions.

You can't use the word culture in a definition, lol.

I would have to say the easiest way to distinguish one culture from another would be their customs, traditions, behavior, and the way they dress and communicate.

The Norms of cultures. Maybe Symbols, the way they communicate.
The Symbols could be for the USA the Eagle, for Canada (Hate to say it) the Beaver.
The Norms:
Western society wears black to a funeral. (Got that from my Sociology teacher)

For me, there is culture in everything and I think, it is an expression of habits and uses taken on by people throughout many generations, in different societies, though at times it becomes one society like the culture of Mcdonaldization.
