I have two computers. My main one, the one I normally use, is running widows vista ultimate edition. My other computer is running windows vista home.

Windows Vista Home Basic, however thinking of getting a Linux Ubuntu CD to install to this computer. >_>

I'm useing XP. Mainly because this computer is about 3 years old and will take awhile to upgrade the insides with it. It needs more RAM, it needs at least ten more gb of space. I could get Vista Basic for this, I did the advisory thing to check if it was ready and it said it would be able to hold Basic in it. Which would be fine. But yeah me and my dad did buy a new computer last month with Vista on it, we baught it for many reasons. One being this computer could die for good at any moment. It has soooo many issues it's not even funny. Error after error, I even downloaded and installed the leaked version of Service Pack 3 for this and I can't tell the difference. Some of the same errors still come up. It makes sense considering I didn't get the full version of SP3 I got the leaked beta version. So yeah not much of an upgrade. But yeah if this computer has some more RAM and alot more memory and space then yeah I would probably upgrade to at least Basic. We're waiting for Service Pack 1 for Vista to come out but that'll be months before that happens. Early next year. Our Vista computer has sooo many problems it blue screens on and off, it slows down alot for nothing. etc

I use XP (Home Edition). I haven't a conviction to upgrade to Vista any time soon (assuming I ever will), and I'm content with the MS OS I'm using because it is more than sufficient for the tasks I perform on it, and I'm too lazy to learn to use another OS. When I'm out of college and financially established, I may choose to get a computer with another OS, probably a Linux, because my reading has lead me to the belief that it's superior to Windows in several important respects.

I have Windows XP Professional Edition. This is a 6 year old computer, but I've added another hard drive, upgraded to a gig of RAM as well as the overall motherboard as well. If it was a newer computer, I might put Vista on it, but most likely not. I work with computers, and most people for the exception of a few don't like Vista. They prefer MAC OS X Leopard over it most cases as well. I haven't done much with Linux, but know it is one of the most secure networking OSs around.

I'm going to go ahead and admit I'm a member of the XP users bandwagon. <_<
